My elderly pensioner neighbour bought a R99 Telkom airtime voucher for his wife at Pep Capegate yesterday. When he tried to upload said voucher, it said that it's a blacklisted voucher. I phoned Telkom today to enquire. The lady said that neighbour has to go back to Pep and ask for a new voucher. Which he did today(he doesn't have transport and had to walk quite a distance). Pep employee wouldn't give a new voucher and wanted to keep blacklisted one. Which would have meant that my neighbour has no proof. He was told to go back there tomorrow. This is highly unacceptable and also criminal, as they are keeping the money for a blacklisted voucher they sold to him. I'm livid.
