We recently bought a YorkiePoo puppy from Peak's Puppies. After the first visit to the vet (2 business days later), our puppy was diagnosed with Giardia (intestinal parasyte), severe Bronchitis, and Ear Mites. Naturally, the Vet put the puppy on meds right away. Upon calling the breeder back to report the sickness, she offered to take the puppy back with a full refund. As the puppy had already connected with the family, we instead requested a partial refund. The breeder refused any partial refund and said that she doubted the puppy had Giardia or Ear Mites. It would be interesting to hear if she contacted the other customers to warn them about the illnesses. I doubt she took the remaining puppies to the Vet to be checked out as she stated she can't afford to take all of her puppies to be checked out.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
We have bought two poodles from Peak's Poodles, and they are beautiful dogs! The vet says that they are in perfect health. Everywhere we take the poodles, people ooo and ahhhhh at them! They are perfect, well bred and good natured, love to be cuddled and playful! They have brought great joy into our home. We are thankful for the careful breeding of Peak's Poodles and refer our friends to them.
earmites and Giardia are common in puppies...so what !
earmites shouldnt be treated till its gets to its new home anyways...to young and the other litter mates might ingest the medicine.
Giardia is common...comes from stress. I cant belive you are on here complaining about earlites and giardia...who cares. Things that clear up easliy.
You should not own the puppy or any puppy in the future if you cannot apprecite your breeder. God, no wonder puppies are so hard to find and more so why so many breeders do not even want to breed puppy's anymore, all you petty-### buyers.
