On April 16th 2022 our 4 Allegiant flights 2311 were canceled confirmation #BR4Y2N. On April 16, 2022 ( after flight cancellation ) I was sent an email from Allegiant and 4 text from Paynuver each containing links to claim payment of $250.00 I Promptly replied to all (4) $250. within 48 hours on the links . I have spent many hours calling and emailing Allegiant and Paynuver since and still no checks or replies 2 1/2 months later. [protected]@Paynuver sent me 4 emails from Allegiant Customer Care on 4/16/22 below:

Dear Valued Allegiant Traveler,

We want to apologize for the inconvenience you experienced.

In this instance, we did not meet our own expectations, and we are very sorry for the disruption it had on your travel plans.

As a gesture of goodwill and demonstration of our sincere apology we have extended you additional compensation. To claim your funds, please select a payment option. Please click here This link will expire in 48 hours.

Our commitment to our customers is to provide a friendly, straightforward, safe and affordable travel experience. We are also committed to continuous improvement and hope you will give us an opportunity to better serve you in the future.

Desired outcome: I would like this to be taken care of and receive an email and the compensation checks I was promised promptly.

Very disappointed with is process. Received email stating have I had 48 hour to access the link. After 7 hour it stated the link exspired. Tried to use the chat and it wanted me to pay to get a customer service rep on the line to assist me. I was not putting my credit card in this sytem just to talk to someone. I was on hold and transfered many times. I should not have to spend hours out of day emailing and calling to try to get help. Why doesnot the link work as it states 48 hours. Thanks for the CEO email address I emailed as well. Wait it see what happend. Very poor customer service.

Allegiant doesn’t give refund they are always given in form of an Allegiant voucher for future travel

Thank you for your response, however I am happy to say that I was given the $250 refund or cash back ( it was directly deposited into my account) . They also had, given a $100 voucher for future travel and a $25 food voucher for the airport.

Depending on the issue at hand, they do in fact give cash back. This is the 2nd time they have done this. For this level of customer service, I appreciate their accommodations for the missed or delayed flights.

I am currently having the same experience. Paynuver claims they have deposited the $250 credit from my cancelled flight #10 on May 7th, 2023. I had asked for a direct deposit and still have not seen the funds. What is even more concerning is that they send a print out of a deposit made but it does not show any information that confirms the account or bank, etc. I have check w/ my bank and they confirm that there is NO payments or deposits made into my accounts. Allegiant says that I must work w/ Paynuver however when I enter in my email and try to retrieve my password, they say I will receive a recovery email to reset my password, " if my account exists". I never get the recovery email, which then shows that they do not have my account on file. There is no number to call or customer service to assist. I have email Allegiant again to state my complaint and attempt to get the refund they promised.

As I can see, I am not the only person this is happening to. I would like Allegiant to honor their promise of a refund of $250.

Very interesting! I had this same issue happen to me back in March. I received 3 of the 4 payments for cancelled flights and I’m still waiting. Many hours spent between calls to Allegiant and Paynuver. Both claiming payment was made. My bank is asking for trace numbers now from them. I ended up emailing the CEO & COO of Allegiant. Emails below, thank me later 🤣

Must faster response, but still working through the process

Hi, I’m dealing with a similar situation and now have an ongoing DOT complaint in attempts to resolve it. I haven’t tried the emails you listed above but it’s my next step if the Allegiant compliance office involved claims my check was cashed. Did you ever get yours resolved?

Have you gotten it resolved yet? I’m in a similar situation after our bags never made it to our destination and we had to buy necessities for our trip. Still haven’t been reimbursed. Supposedly PayNuver check was mailed Nov 18. If you haven’t gotten it resolved, try opening a DOT complaint. That’s helped move mine along but those emails you listed may be next!

Allegiant canceled my flight two days ago. I received a text stating I would receive $200 and was sent a link for Paynuver, but it had to be claimed within 48 hours. I have attempted numerous times from numerous well-populated locations to access the link, and I am unable to connect to Paynuver. I now have less than 3 hours to claim my $200 and I've been on hold with Allegiant over an hour." Is the goal for me to be unable to claim my $200? It sure feels that way! Help! This is infuriating...
