My Name is Nosibusiso Koli please assist me in getting my refund back. I purchased a cell phone via PAYJOY at a Game Store in Mthatha EC just as the lady finished with the long tedious process, I discovered some additional costs on their APP under my profile incl a highly ridiculous mark-up that the Agent told me nothing about, as I probed her further trying to understand how the costs were calculated she could not even answer one single question I got so exasperated and fed-up that I told ger to cancel the application and request for a refund I would rather buy the phone cash than paying double of the amount via Pay joy.
I then started the process of a refund by sending an email and calling Pay Joy, every time I called, they would say my emails aren't reflecting on their system I need to send a POP and bank statement which I did on the 8th of November 2022, from that day I was told the TAT for refunds is 4-6 days and today I'm on day 21 and there's still nothing, I still wait on their call centre lines for hours to get through to some assistance and when someone finally decides to pick up, I’m being sent back and forth. everyone I speak to will tell me the exact escalation story and does not result to fruition. I am so frustrated by these people I don't know what else to do or how to further escalate my query as they do not have Walkin centres.
