Hello, I was in Montreal March 25-27 and had parked in the parking lot right next to Hotel Expresso at 1005 Guy Street, Montreal, Quebec H3H 2K4 there is a opened parking lot that hotel guests unsuspectingly would park, the parking lot has a sign "Mensuel Disponible Safeway [protected]" and offers automated parking receipt with time stamp by paying with credit card for 24 hours.

The 2 parking attendent tried to scam me and other hotel guest that is visiting Montreal by stating to me that I had to paid them $40 for parking last night and another $40 for parking tomorrow night when i tried to retrieve me car. They have an automated machine that provide a parking ticket that states the time of parking and I prepaid it with a credit card. The time stamp due was 5:15pm and I went to pick up my car at 4:30pm that day. The nerve of those attendents trying to scam tourist saying "you have NJ plates" you have to paid me! and I owe him $80 total for "tomorrow" night" which I am not even parking in the lot. You have to be kidding me?!. A clear scam! Of course, I yelled back and show on my car windshield my time parking ticket. They didn't care and said " you pay me!" I was very close to calling the Police and stormed out and drive out. You tried to scam people and you think people are stupid to fall for their yelling to get scammed by these attendants.

The two attendants didn't stop me of course, they were wrong, and I drove off. I hope Montreal takes these crime seriously and investigate on the failure of such decency to better patrol and protect people from these sharks on their scams on tourists.
