Paralegal Solutions review: Jeff Balgooyen

I hired Jeff as a paralegal to prepare motions for a court case. I paid him in late September 2014 for a trial that was the first week of December. He was nice and helpful until he got paid. Then he became verbally abusive when I complained that he had not even given me an initial assessment of the case more than 3 weeks later, and one time he sounded drunk on the phone. He then several times did not have the work done on the promised dates, giving lame excuses. Finally a few days before the trial he stopped responding to emails and phone calls, and NEVER did a single piece of work on the case, even when I threatened to call the police and District Attorney. Now I think this was a scam from the beginning and he never intended to do any work. He basically stole $500 from me. Beware.
