I came to this vet for an emergency because my dog was snorting, and they told me it would be $150 for an emergency visit. They then hustled me and said I need to put down a $500 retainer. By the time I got my dog back, they were charging me $507 for a bag of meds, all totally unrelated to my dog's condition, which was very easy to observe (yet somehow the doctor could not elicit the "cough"). I didn't want the meds but they refused to give me my money back. They gave me no information or any helpful services, and charged me for numerous additional services. In fact they said they were going to charge me $437, but then I went to the bathroom and came back and it was $507. They did not provide the services agreed upon, and then proceeded to charge me for numerous additional services without my consent. They refused to give me a refund although I emailed them numerous times, immediately as soon as I got home, describing the specific interactions in detail. I was very upset but didn't want to cause a fuss until they gave me my dog back, and was outside. They didn't even give me a chance to speak, and even though I requested a receipt, neglected to give it to me. I had to go back and get for that. This place is purposefully deceptive, and providing horrible services. They didn't spend any time with my animal, and I doubt their expertise in anything other than giving medication. I want a full refund at this point, not just the $150. I still have their untouched bag of meds, ready to give back to them. I had to go home and spray saline solution up my dogs snout with a water pik, which they could have easily done, and this solved the problem. No thanks to them. They couldn't even describe it accurately as a snort, and that it was located in the nasal cavity. I am a speech-language pathologist, and I know well the oral passages. This hospital is too busy pandering to pet owner's worries to actually help heal animals. It should be called Pahoa Animal Panderer-Charlatans. With horrible customer service that never asks for permission and refuses to give refunds.
