On 5/18/2023 I took my car into the dealer service shop because the engine light came on and the car seemed sluggish and I had a hard time accelerating. The next day, the service rep called to tell me that the rear main seals were leaking and the breather valve was failing. The cost to repair this would be $8,500. This was totally shocking to me. He said that the car must have been running for a long time with no oil. I knew that was not so, because I had just gone in for an oil change the month before and they did a check to see that there were no problems. Previous to this incident (about a year ago), I brought my car in and got $4,000 worth of work done on the engine (same issues). Once they fixed the car, I drove down the street and the car abruptly shut off. I turned around and drove it back to the dealer. They kept the car for a few days and claimed they could not find a problem with it. It seems strange to me that these issues would be back again within a year's time. I purchased the car (new) at this same dealership. I have only had my vehicle serviced at this dealer since I purchased it. It leads me to believe that their service department is not qualified to to the work. I have lost all confidence in their ability to service my vehicle. I will never do business with them again. Now I have to get a new car.

Desired outcome: 1. Retrain your service mechanics. 2. Be upfront about any recalls.3. I want a formal apology.
