Fraudster's Jay Shah & Stephen Page of Ortegra Duped our Company of almost GBP 8, 000, Our Company ONS represented by Myself "Ankur Gupta" Head of Accounts & Our Director Mr. Ajay Sharma has already filed a Complained today in our Local Police Station today and will be forwarding the copy of the same to Economic Offence Wing and will also get Interpol to take action against these Fraudsters.
Their Modus Operandi is Unique, They call them as Venture Capitalist when they don't have money to even pay their pending bills, They allure entrepreneurs into their trap by projecting themselves as VC'S & Angel Investors and telling them that they really like their Idea and once the victim falls into the trap then they say that they would Invest 50% and the entrepreneur should invest 50% and when the entrepreneur pays them 50% money then they outsource the work to an offshore company like ours at a fraction of that price, but then these imposters never pay the bills to offshore companies and during the life cycle entrepreneurs also realize that these guys are imposters /fakes and have no knowledge of what they are doing but by then its too late as by then huge amount of Money is swindled by these Conmen.
After our research we found that, they have already duped several entrepreneurs latest victims being Eulogy Magazine, Peerpex, www.gapdaemon.com, www.rentmyitems.com ...there are plenty more... We are also getting in touch with these companies to create a forum to get the UK government to take action against these Frauds.
This is the last correspondence we had with these Frauds, after reading the below you will realize that to ensure no other entrepreneur, offshore company like ours get into their trap we have declined to take on their offer but instead going public with our findings...

Hello Mr. Shah,
Thanks for your reply, and I mentioned to you below, that with these emails I am not trying to negotiate a deal with you but the figure I quoted is the best we are willing to settle for and there will be no negotiations and please don't comment on the quality of work we do as we are not the company that is shutting down! but Instead we are growing at a phenomenal rate of 200% year on year for last 4 yrs and let me assure you this kind of growth does not happen if were a company who was doing poor development work.
Also, What I mentioned below are not threats but FACTS, and if we decide to take this route, It won't be about getting the Invoices paid but solving a much bigger purpose. As you will appreciate we will do over $3 million this year, so I am sure we can live with this loss, but we will make sure that what happened to us doesn't happen to any other company so we will let the entire world know, how your company deceived and cheated us by posting facts on all the blogs and complaint sites of the world and Ofcourse you will have all the freedom to file rebuttals and express your opinion and we will then let the world decide. At this time Mental satisfaction is more important to us than the money we lose and I am sure by doing so It will safe guard many vendors and customers...and that to is a much bigger purpose.
I will let you decide of what you route you would want to take.
Regards,
Ankur Gupta"

Company Business Name: Ortegra
Country of complaint: United Kingdom
We are a London based company and have recently been subjected to invalid posts on the internet by ONS Interactive Solutions Limited a company based in New Delhi who claims to specialise in web application development and online marketing. The company goes by many names, ONS Interactive Solutions, Profit By Search, Profit By Outsourcing & SEO India Company.

It's really easy for people these days to post anything on the internet and smear other people or company names. Some of these websites should really look closely as to who is posting things as libel is occurring on a regular basis. This is a good example of a company, fired for non performance, then libelling their customer.
We do not intend to go into the extreme detail of the case, however needless to say the company failed to deliver on a number of counts and when we decided to terminate our agreement with them they turned nasty. When we approached them to finalise our account and move on, they refused to discount anything (despite our clients being very unhappy with their service and not paying us) and they threatened to seriously cripple our business. In fact the first email back from the Managing Director Ajay Sharma and their Head of Accounts Ankur Gupta was full of threats.
Here is an excerpt from one of the emails sent by Ankur Gupta:
"I think abs told you that we embed a php script that drains the d/b as a rule of thumb to protect us. The file just resides with our trusted system admin and we call them nukes in our company. I am sure you will think you will have a backup for the d/b and you will reload it but then it becomes an endless exercise of deletion and reload…"… Ankur Gupta cc: Ajay Sharma
They also threatened to:
1) report to an Indian police station (and everyone knows that these stations will write anything on paper as no-one ever questions anything).
2) write complaint notes on various websites, blogs and forums and then email all our existing clients telling them their one-sided story.
India is a great place to do business, however it is companies like this that really give it a bad name.
In the last month we have had our servers severely damaged and we've spent a lot of money getting new high-end machines and updating the code on various sites. The attack occurred a week after the threats started from ONS and prior to us even having a chance to resolve the situation.
When this happens, you can ask yourself, what would you do? Would you pay the company in India?
They have gone to the extent of calling us fraudsters and side stepping the main situation which is that they messed up. We are currently seeking legal advice on the above situation and the false and serious accusations by their MD Ajay Sharma, and Head of Accounts Ankur Gupta.
Please note that many companies have also complained about ONS / Profit By Search / Profit By Outsourcing on various complaints sites. Here are reports of complaints from other customers:

Profit By Search not only posts smear campaigns on companies, they also offer to help clean these up. Please see the services offering from their website: http://www.seoindiacompany.com/Remove-[redacted]-Complaints-Board-Complaints-from-Google.html
We are not getting into the same smear campaign and this will be our last post on this site. If you would like to speak to a representative from our company on this, please feel free to email getintouch@ortegra.com.
Stay far away from Ortegra Ltd! From an in-house point of view they hire interns, or as Jay Shah puts it '12 month apprentices'. He pays these college graduates £400 per month to manage 2-3 clients (total of @ £6000 per month income generated from each intern) and treats employees very unfairly. He promises clients/potential clients all the sales in the world, and when he cannot deliver on this he takes it out on the intern managing the account... Seem fair? I think not! I can only stress for people to STAY AWAY from Ortegra!
Jay Shah was sacked by Ortegra ltd in December 2013. The company is no longer trading after it ran out of cash
