I can't stop anyone buying from breeders, because that will always happen, but If I can stop you from buying dogs from the breeder: One and Only Cane Corsos, then I believe I can save a person or family from a traumatic experience. Their website and Instagram are One and Only Cane Corso. Sadly we bought a beautiful cane corso from this breeder. He was a beautiful, smart, good dog, with an unpredictable temper. We learned this the hard way. It didn't matter much love and training we gave this dog, when you're breeder is breeding aggressive dogs, there's nothing you can do. Now that I look back, all the signs where their, when we visited the breeder. She would not let us meet the puppies dad. She made us sit in these recliners chairs and we couldn't get up or move too quickly. We just had to sit there while the adult dogs walked around. She talks about all these awards the dad god received, but yet we couldn't meet him. Maybe he's not a show dog anymore because he's super aggressive. If you just want up to her house, you'll see how crazy aggressive the daddy dog is. Also while we were there, another family was returning a dog to her because of his aggressive behavior. Sadly, we looked past that, because we finally found the exact dog, we wanted. We completely regret that. We got our pup when he was 3 months old and over the course of almost 2 years, he bit 4 times, at super unpredictable moments which led us to having to surrender our Cane Corso. They were literally unpredictable moments, like when my son went to give him love and bit his hand or my nephew went to kiss the top of his head and our dog bit his arm. Cane Corsos don't have a little mouse bite either, they are major bleeding puncture wounds. Surrendering our baby was a horrible experience for my whole family. We never loved a dog so much, but with 4 kids at home we couldn't put our family, and friends at risk any longer. The even more upsetting thing is, when we were trying to call dog rescue places, 2 of the places asked what breeder the dog came from, and when we said One and Only Cane Corso, both places quickly said, "oh Rev, he's known to have aggressive puppies." Rev, is the daddy dogs name. One and Only Cane Corso, KNEW we had 4 young children at home yet she sold us a puppy, knowing she was breeding aggressive dogs. One and Only Cane Corso is know in the dog world for breeding aggressive puppies! We aren't the first family that returned one of her aggressive dogs. When we reached out to One and Only Cane Corso, she got super defensive and quickly blamed us for the dog bites. She knows exactly what she's doing. When we first bought our pup, I didn't feel comfortable with her living situation but once again we sadly chose to ignore it, because we found the dog we wanted. She lives in this super cluttered, small single family residence. It's not even set up with appropriate dog kennels. The cages are not much bigger that the dogs and that's where they sit all day every day. It's so sad. I wanted to report her back then, and I wish I followed through. All I can say, not matter the dog, please don't ignore the signs of a bad situation.
One and Only's Cane Corso's are certified pedigree dogs, all of their bloodline has ‘One & Only's' in front of all their dogs names, so you can see their history with AKC. For example, they have One & Only Baby Doll or One and Only's Highly Favored. They also have the initials GCHB, GCH, or CH in their dog names. I'm telling you every way you can recognize if you have one of her dogs. If you buy a dog from this breeder, you're encouraging her to continue to breed aggressive dogs and you're putting yourself, your family and your friends at risk. The breeders names are Leondra, Chrissie and Rain Rew.

I know there are more of that breeders dogs out there. I wish more people would report her. It’s very sad. She’s selling these dogs to families. Not only are he families at risk of serious injury, like our family, we had to part with our pet, that we loved, it’s very very sad. Your dog looks very closely to my dog. I’m trying to see if more can be done.

I also purchased a corso from the one and only in 2016 and he was the most loving dog ever. He passed away at 8 years old. These dogs are not for everyone. They are big strong animals. Please do not purchase one if you can not keep up.

It is heart breaking to read these situations. First and foremost unfortunately Rev passed away some time ago but he NEVER bit a judge. Rev was NEVER dismissed out of the ring and showed many many many times until he was too old to show. He was an awesome show dog, champion, protector and family dog. He was shown by a professional handler. His last litter was through a stud service that had 8 puppies that went to homes and had no problems.

It’s sad to hear such hatred and one of these people that wrote the most about me stalked me to the point that I had shut down my social media because she stalked me so terribly, all times of the day and night that I had to cut off my phone.because I didn’t know her and had never met her and she was not the original buyer. I didn’t even know the dog was sold.

Apparently, this wasn’t really about the dogs or this would’ve been settled with the dogs best interest at heart, it was about hatred towards me being a black woman doing good with this breed and having many successes in showing and winning. Isn’t it something how many cane corsos have bit judges in the show ring, have chased other dogs and have bit other dogs at the dog shows but never get talked about or put online. What about the breeders that have sold sick puppies, aggressive puppies — why aren’t their names on here too? I can tell you why, because they aren’t black.

When I sell puppies I always strongly encourage and take pride in helping new families and giving them information. One of the biggest advice rht I give is that the new owner SOCIALIZES their puppy and takes them to obedience class because of the Cane Corsos instinct to be guardians. You can’t take that out of the breed. They aren’t lapdogs.

Unfortunately when a puppy leaves my home I can’t control what happens afterwards. I can only give advice IF I’m approached. In regards to the dog that Melissa said she took from the people in Washington, I did not know there was an issue and it was on the contract that they offer me the dog first before selling to someone else but did not give me that opportunity. Unfortunately Melissa was very obsessed with me. You could tell by how much she has written and we’ve never met in person. I didn’t sell her the dog. She said in her writing” that the previous owner did”, which makes me wonder why they sold him in the first place. These are supposed to be forever homes.

When I purchased my first corso, I went into this breed to protect my home and my family as a single mother. This is what the breed was bred to do, to be protectors.

There is no perfect dog or a perfect puppy. Most breeders that love what they’re doing do the best as humanly possible . This is not a breed for the faint of heart or people who hit their dogs which one of these complaints did (I have proof, see picture ) the only thing I can say where I went wrong was selling to a man who I thought was very hard and a disciplinarian but I sold to him because he had a nice family yet I warned him to be gentle and patient with the puppy. Unfortunately I have proof in a text that he hit or spanked the dog as he described in the text and the dog bit him. If you hit me, I’d bite back too. Furthermore, if you have negative energy then your dog will feel it and have that same energy. Dog trainers talk about this constantly. FEAR WILL MAKE A DOG BITE. I wonder what these dogs were afraid of. He called me to take the dog back and I had a home set up for him within two hours . HOWEVER my new buyer who was a knowledgeable trainer called him and the original owner already sold the dog knowing that the dog was aggressive. I don’t understand why he called me when he’d already sold the dog except to be able to bash and ruin me. He didn’t even want to let this go even though he’d sold the dog already. He called me so that he could cover himself because it was in the contract that I get first option to get the dog back.

To Melissa point: If something triggers a dog during a certain time they will be defensive in that same situation just like with people.

I haven’t shown in years because I’ve been ill. It has nothing to do with my dogs. Why are these people anonymous?

I’m a 70 year old black woman my intent was not to sell bad or sick dogs. Let’s remember and be fair dogs get some of the same diseases that people do and get angry when attacked or feel threatened like people. Again, this is a guardian breed not suited for everyone. I do my best to match up puppies with families and have some of the most beautiful cane corsos out here raised inside my home with love, affection and as much socializing as possible because this has been my passion for the last 15-20 years. My family has done well in the show ring. Rev was the #4 all breed working dog in the United States during 2014. How can an aggressive dog accomplish so much? I have produced many many akc champions and am an akc breeder of merit.

Finally, YOU CANNOT BE ABUSIVE TO A GUARDIAN BREED (OR ANY BREED) and not expect it to eventually retaliate. I sell cute loving fun puppies to go to hopefully good homes. Who teaches these dogs aggression? If the owner allows a guardian breed puppy to playfully chew on their hand it encourages bad behavior. My point is that I don’t know what some of these owners do once the puppy leaves my home. if you’re not a good pack leader and can’t teach your dog to not be aggressive then this isn’t the breed for you. If you’re not ready for a strong dog that has you and your family’s back, this isn’t the breed for you.

There's a few funny things about your reply. Number 1, isnt it funny how the black person made it a "black thing"! What a joke! My family is black, so nice try! And secondly, the two people you're talking above, still isnt me, which means you caused trauma to yet another family, that is awful! My son was attacked when he was coming out of the bathroom. Your comment is only trying to defend the breed, with zero compassion for the trauma you have caused families. My son is scared to death of dogs now. We have had dogs all our life and nothing like the dogs youre breeding. You're also, still ignoring the fact that when I called Cane Corse Rescues, as soon as I said who you were, they already knew about your dogs. 2 different breeders knew that you were breeding agressive dogs and they wouldnt even take ur dog. We werent even trying to sell our dog, we just wanted him to go to a place that will love him, so either you're comment above is full of lies, or your talking about someone else. You need to quit breeding. You have caused so much trauma to multiple families and the atmosphere in which you are breeding dogs is awful. that is no life for a dog.

WOW first off nice of you do reply how many years later. Let me guess your going to start breeding again right? So you figured you better acknowledge a few things and make yourself sound like the victim🤦🏻‍♀️second I don't know you never been obsessed with you or whatever you think😂 the only thing I was obsessed with was finding a solution for a dog I love very much

I messaged you once on Facebook after I RESCUED Capo (never purchased him) and just wanted some backstory on him and his parents their behavior and temperament health ect.

You message back small paragraph along the lines of "his parents are champions" and then you blocked me.🤦🏻‍♀️I started doing my own research and talking with other Corso breeders owners. And that's wen I started finding out litter mates from Capos litter we're experiencing the same problems.

Like there's no "Vendetta" against you cause your skin color talk about grasping at straws🤦🏻‍♀️ like make it make sense how your skin color has to do with any of this😆😅😆😂

If You just would have been a responsible breeder (human being) the people that were trying to get a hold of you for some answers or support to let you know it's something in the breeding pair that you use together it's not a good mix genetically.

Like you offered no after breeder support and that's a [censored]ty breeder in my book🤬😠😡 but instead you want to come on here and make up lies and make yourself sound like a victim somehow because of your skin color🤦🏻‍♀️🤦

You know who the real victims are? Firstly the poor dogs that had to

be euthanized secondly the devastating owners that had to go through such a heartbreaking experience 💔 😢

You should be thanking me not dragging my name tho the mud I took on your responsibility! Cuz every puppy you bring to this world is (SHOULD) be you're responsible for its life!

And not have Rescuers like me go out of my way to try to help the people you ignored you sold the puppy to they told me they tried contacting you and you didn't give two [censored]s. So I stepped in and tried my best to rehabilitate Capos.💔

It was in vain because he was genetically mentally unstable and there's nothing that could be done so make the only decision to euthanize. He was becoming unstable and unsafe🥺

I was there with him when he took his last breath at least in the end he knew people loved and cared about what happened with him i loved him so much 😭 😢

P.S If I'm the "individual" your referring to in your comment about stalking phone calls ect that's a bold-faced lie‼️

I've never called you once in my life. I went and checked your website Facebook & Instagram because I was looking for answers! Trying to help save your dogs life!

If you wouldn't have been so evasive maybe I wouldn't have "stalked" you by leaving you one Facebook message and doing research trying to figure something out!

P.S.S Responsible Cane Corso breeders don't sell puppies two young families with zero experience owning a guardian breed🤦🏻‍♀️

The family you sold Capo to were Clueless and not the kind of people you sell a Corso to you set them up to fail! Not doing your research and not giving a f🔞ck where your puppies go as long as you get the money I guess

So sadly I have found yet another One & Only Cane Corso from our Corso litter that also had to be put down 😢

This male littermate two our two suffered from Epilepsy. And attaching his pedigree as well so others are aware of whitch bloodlines my be carrier's.

So my conclusion to this whole tragic story is plan and simple these two dog's with these bloodlines should of NEVER of been breed period!

That's why good breeders do tons of research fact checking and double checking!

They just don't buy two pure breeds enter them in a few dog shows so they can claim they have "Champion" dog's then sell the litter for thounds with zero contracts or life time breeder support!

So in conclusion As far as my Research goes " One & Only Cane Corso Breeders of Merit" SMFH 🤦🏼‍♀️ Have stopped breeding after this litter was such a genetic nightmare! Thank God for that!

I'm so so sorry you had to be put him down. We called several places because we didnt want to put him down either. We love him sooo much. We finally a found a really good place that would take care of him, until they found the right home for him. I still get to see him on social media but thats it :(

So did they find him a appropriate home yet?
If so or not plz let whom ever has him that I have recently found another victim and littermate.😢

And he was euthanized for epilepsy but whom really knows because according to Capo's first family they witness him have a epileptic fit and the vet put him on meds.

So any ways heads up 👍😁

So sorry to here your story I to have a one & only cane corso I rescued from a family in Washington they had shipped to them from California. They couldnot keep him and now I am starting to find out why! Just recently he as started to become aggressive growling and has bite two people it's weird at night he turnes in to a different dog am so worried he will hurt someone I have to be on him countstenly!
