Oak Hill Enterprises Jon Unruh-False Advertisment
I bought a new gun from Jon Unruh at Oak hill through gunsamerica. The listing # [protected] - When my gun store got the gun it wasnot the gun i bought. There is a price diff. of about $500.00 . I bought a S&W 41 w/rail from S&W performance center. The gun that was shipped is the reg. S&W 41. I called Jon n he didnot even want to hear what i had to say. I try to tell Jon -just to look at the listing # but Jon said '' I dont have a pen'' I told Jon im sending the gun back to him. Jon said, i would have to pay the shipping. $35. I would also pay restocking fee of 3%. I would also have to pay a gunsmith to check the gun for any defect n make sure the gun wasnt fired. With shipping both ways $70 + 3% + one hour labor charge= $185.00.

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
DO NOT BUY FROM OAK HILL!
I should have read these reviews before buying from Oak Hill. I've posted my experience with them on Google and BBB. So, I'll repost it here and hope that my review will help others in the future.
Buyer be aware! If you plan on paying with your credit card read the review below:
Be careful you will be charged an additional 3% on top of the “Oak Hill Price”. I purchased a CZ-75 SP-01 Tactical and the website quoted me “Cash Price“ $571.33 and $589 “Oak Hill Price”. I paid using a credit card and during checkout was told it was going to be $589 plus shipping with the following note: “Please note the prices reflected below are for credit card purchases, a 3% discount for certified check or money order will automatically be applied on checkout”. Reading this note, I did not expect to receive the 3% discount since I am paying with a credit card. To my surprise, I was charged with an additional 3% credit card processing charge. When I tried to call to dispute the charge, they will not pick up my calls (I called every 30mins during their work hours). Worse yet, they never provided me an invoice at purchase, and just charged my credit card with the additional 3% processing charge and shoved the invoice inside the box. When corresponding via email, they stated it was the processing charge. I was charged $633.00 ($589 plus 3% plus shipping $25). I should of only been charged $614 ($589 plus $25 shipping) since the $589 already included the 3% processing charge. Even if you add in the 3% charge on the $589, the total should of been $631.67. The reason I am giving them the 1-star rating is because the way they handled the charges by using some fuzzy math and not providing invoice to their customer at the point of sale. Finally, the poor/lack of customer service that I received during the many attempts to contact them via phone to resolve the problem. From reading other’s reviews, I wouldn’t be surprised if you receive the same treatment if something goes wrong. Let’s hope that won’t happen to you.
Other than the poor customer service and their inability to charge the correct amount, I’d say they have a nice selection of CZ guns and decent pricing. However, I would not buy from them again even if they are the only one selling the gun I want.
UPDATE 9-4-2018: No invoice was shipped with the box! My FFL did not received an invoice from them nor was the invoice shipped with the box as stated by Oak Hill. In addition, the magazines were not the original CZ magazine, instead they swapped it out with a third party manufacturer without telling me. These guys at Oak Hill are extremely unprofessional. Great at taking your money, but bad at dealing with people.
Amazing all these reviewers are slandering to blackmail you...I totally believe everything you say.
I have used John's services several times. He is prompt courteous and to the point. If you want good service use him. If you want to chat go to Dunkin Donuts.

1. (Marty D) has never done business with us, but since we have reported him / her for violations of use to multiple public use internet sites, they have posted such false claims in retaliation for action taken by the owners of the sites restricting their use.
2. (Pete4) if you have any issues with an item you purchased, you should have inspected the item before taking possession and brought it to our attention.
3. (Big Al K) Not sure why you wish to slander us, but guessing you might be one of the individuals contacting us to offer your "services" to recify such claims? If so, no we will pay you off, that is simply blackmail.
4. (Bob T. B) For the record we do not exihibit or even attend shows, so I am pretty sure you are either another individual looking for a payoff for internet blackmail (services) or you simply have confused us with someone else.
5. (Steve M. T) Please contact directly if you have any issues and/or concerns if you are an actual customer of ours.
6. (Steve1123) This individual has used malicious slander in effort to get a bargain. A refund was issued the very next day after we received multiple calls with name calling and threats, dispite the fact we had no valid reason for such a refund. Cell phone pictures of hand writing on a cardboard box do not equate proof. We simply issued a refund and terminated the customer's account to avoid any false claims in the future.
For the record, our commitment to meet our customers’ needs with efficiency and professionalism is not diminished by the claims of individuals who wish to create opportunities for themselves to market “internet services” with slander and false claims. This is simply blackmail.
Jon is HORRIBLE to deal with, I will never purchase anything from Oak Hill again! I paid $15 to have an item shipped to me. When the mailman delivered it, he said the postage was $5.86 SHORT, so I had to pay $5.86 or send it back, I figured I would pay it and get reimbursed (I figured it would be no problem). Jon used $5.44 to ship my item, which I paid $15 to have it shipped. I told Jon what had happened and he would not reimburse me the $5.86 that I had to pay ON TOP of the $15 he originally charged me. This is a joke, and he just lost a customer over $5.86!
I sent a e-mail to gunsamerica about the gun i bought on line. Gunsamerica has not replied to me . Its been 2 weeks. I send a 2nd e-mail to gunsamerica n tryed to call them. Never heard from them. If anyone orderes a gun from them, if you have problems, good luck !
You should know not to buy online. Always check the bussiness out with the BBB. I heard bad things about Oak Hill. I meet Jon at a show n he is a ###!
JON is a CON man. Dont buy anything from oak hill enterprises !
Jon from oak hill enterprises must of seen this report n took the listing number off, so no one can see it. Why would a business guy do scams like this? I filed a report with the BBB and only to find out Jon Unruh from oak hill enterprises has 3 scam reports filed with him. Jon Unruh just open his business in 2011. If he keeps scamming people, he will not be in business much longer.
I also had problems with jon at oak hill. Oak Hill sent me a used gun when i bought new gun. Jon said i would have to pay all these fees to return the gun. I will never buy from him again.
