I hired Nortex Custom Hardwood Floors owned by Justin Jones to install hardwood floors in my home. From the beginning we started having problems with scheduling and installation mistakes. Justin would apologize and blame his installer. These problems persisted through the entire process.

Finally after over a week the job was mostly completed. There was damage to different areas because of sloppy installation but I was ready to get Nortex out of my house. I reluctantly paid the remainder of the money owed and had my painters to fix the damages to the walls and floors. Two days after I had paid Justin his installer showed up at my door demanding payment for the installation. I called Justin and he informed me he had fired him and he had not paid him the full amount because of all the problems. After hearing the excuses for several minutes, Justin finally said for me to have his installer call him and he would work it out.

A couple of days later the installer was once again at my door demanding payment. I called Justin to see where he was and had the installer follow me to another job where Justin was and I told them both to work it out. I thought finally I was done with Justin Jones. Within 6 months of the installation of the hardwood floors, I started noticing some warping in different areas of my home. At first I thought I could live with it until the floor of my master sitting room buckled up. I called Justin and he said I probably had a roof leak. I had a roofing contractor check it and there was no leak. I called Justin back and he said he would come and look at it. For over 4 months he would keep telling me he would come by, mostly by text.

Finally he sent his head installer to look at the problems. His head installer said the floors had been installed incorrectly but could be fixed. He said Justin would have to schedule the repair. After that Justin would just text me and not call me back. Now I get no response at all. I reported it to the Better Business Bureau. Nortex Custom Hardwood Floors or Justin would not return calls or respond to them either.

Don’t be fooled by Justin Jones he does not know what he is doing and does not stand behind his work.

    Mark,
    I am sorry for your experience with Nortex Flooring in the past. We strive to make customers happy and even though I was not with the company at the time of this occurrence I understand your frustration. I as the new operations manager have tried to eliminate any customer woes and address every problem personally. I hope that one day you will use us again and I will have the chance to show you a more professional and skilled Nortex Hardwood Floors.
