This company replaced 12 connecting roofs. When the job was complete the yard was full of roofing nails. The company had to be called twice to pick up all the debris that was left in the grass. They also had and issue with a unit owner about a new leak that was comming into a pipe that was on the roof causing water to leak into a brand new furnace. After calling the company 3 times I had to hire an outside source to fix the seal costing me $100.00. The owner said it was not thier responsibility the man who repaired it says it was definitly thier fault. There were also a few small holes that were in the pipe also that were never there for 6 yrs prior. Shop around before thinking of this company! States on BBB he has two employees, but there were at least 7 guys there working ? ethics,

I feel compelled to address complaints that were made against Nor’Easter Roofing by a unit owner where I also reside. I and many of the other 10 owners had a much different experience. Nor’Easter was contracted by our Trustees to replace the roofs in December of ’09. While not a recognized month to begin a project due to extremes in temperature Rob and his team stepped up to the plate. They waited for temperatures to rise to specified working degrees and arrived that day. Extra men were brought in to ensure the job was completed before bad weather could interfere.
The two buildings were draped by tarps to protect them as well as to allow the team to slide debris off of the roof rather than having it thrown off into the snow covered yards. At day’s end the guys cleaned up, sometimes in the dark and with a foot of snow on the ground. The job was completed in a timely and quoted fashion. Debris was collected and Rob even assured us that since there was snow covering the ground he would come back whenever needed if more was found. He was on site for the project, his team was courteous, and problems were always addressed and reported to Trustees.
While no company may be perfect, I can certainly tell that Nor’Easter takes a lot of pride by being on site, returning calls and responding to issues when they arise. (Plus, the roofs look great!) I feel this is a situation where the internet can be extremely damaging when 1 individual can injure a company’s reputation with what I believe are a lot of false comments. I hope you will ignore these complaints, consider Nor Easter an option and allow the work to speak for itself!
i dont doubt he only has 2 employees. i dont doubt that he would use day laborers. its cheaper to "rent" a person than it is to pay a full time employee that you may not need on a daily basis.
