We been using Nextgen for a couple of years now and they have cost us a lot of money
We been using Nextgen for a couple of years now and they have cost us a lot of money. They do our collections for us from insurance companies. They have failed doing our collections we have millions of dollars owed to us much of our A/R is over 90 days and have learned that through there lack of understanding of how to bill hundreds of mistakes have been created causing financial damage to our clinical operations. Don't sign up for there services.

Bad customer service
Bad customer service. Nextgen set up a webex meeting for me, but nobody came to the meeting. I use Nextgen healthcare EMR. They gave me a date and time for the meeting and sent me reminders. But nobody from Nextgen came. When I emailed them, they said they didn't know how the meeting got booked with them. They said they were with NextGen Office (formerly MediTouch), and my account is with NextGen Enterprise. They said they would forward my request for a meeting to someone at NextGen Enterprise.
NextGen is not very good
NextGen is not very good. They do things that are mean and not nice to customers. They trap people and don't let them leave or talk about their account. We know this because it happened to us. They do this to healthcare people too, and it's not good for them. They charge too much and don't let people leave. They don't have good stuff and don't keep up with what people need. They promised us something but it didn't work. They make people stay with them and charge them more money. They don't let people take their stuff with them. They do this on purpose to keep people there.
