They built us a new home and quality/workmanship is lacking, they did not follow owner requests, have not fulfilled commitments made and after 22 months our punch list has not been completed. Today we have just completed a $100k fix so our decks and roof would not fall off the home, we wait for fixes the builder committed to complete (cabinet, grout, doors, stain and more). We have also had to fix code/safety issues at our expense as we couldn't chance injury to our grandkids or fire risk due to Newberry's shoddy workmanship. While all builders should build a quality home, this was our dream home and we spent far more to have it than expected. When you spend over $2.1 million, there is an expectation it will be done right, it was note! Today we await the builder to complete our roof lookout deck. Water continues to pool, grout is leaching, their re-grout was only 75% completed when sub left and not returned (8 months ago). Builder removed defective sink cabinet in December 2020 with a commitment to replace it "in the next 2 weeks", yet after 11 months nothing has been done. Additionally, while we have just completed a huge deck repair (mentioned above), we now have another deck failure causing water intrusion to our second floor.
