I had an appointment with Dr. James F Williamson on 8/30/2022 at 3:30 p. For eye exam. During the exam to determine the strength of the new lenses my eyes began to water. I told him several times. He finally heard me and gave me a tissue. He gave me a prescription for 2.50 for readers. Unless my 68 year old eyes have improved (which I doubt very seriously) I have worn 3.00 to 3.50 for 9 years. I had to come back to him a week later for another exam and had a huge red mark on the white of my left eye. He asked if I wanted him to examine it. I said yes, please. He asked what kind of insurance I had, I told him united health care, he said we don't take that insurance. I asked were the 2 appointments I had with him covered, he said yes, but nothing else was covered. The first time I saw him I paid an extra $45 for an exam toward the back of my eyeball, never received that exam. I do not understand why he wouldn't offer to do it if I paid him money again?!? At that point, I was done with him and united healthcare. I thanked him for his time and left his office.
