Friendly nice people.. but that is the best I can say. There was only one dentist for all the patients that had been scheduled.. both through the office and through corporate quarters. Of course this leads to an over booking and patience waiting for long periods of time. On my first visit there were about 4 people complaining in the waiting area how this happens every time! The young girl doing the impressions I believe did not really know for sure what she was doing; she kept coming in and asking the dentist if it looked right. Plus, they did not have the correct size for my mouth so used the closest match. Time came to pull the last 4 teeth I had.. only to find out that 2 of them were really not ready to pull.. so they had to practically be dug out! They could have been used to hold the bottoms in place! When my teeth arrived they were not the ones that I had selected and a billing adjustment had to be made. I am glad that got messed up, because I had originally asked for the Comfy Lites which are more expensive. There is still quite a bit of adjusting that needs to be done in order to fit properly and I am looking now for a place to go. I read in another complaint how the chemical they used on the teeth seem to make the womans face swell... don't know if it is the chemicals or what but I have experienced a continual light burning sensation where the teeth themselves come in contact with my inner mouth. I am not satisfied at all with what I walked away with and the price . I have never had dentures before that I am constantly aware of! I do not really blame the dentist.. she had an overload on her shoulders... and left the company due to the fact that it wasn't about the patient it was about the profit. Corporate is greedy. So to anyone out there who may be thinking about going to Aspen Dental.. think again and read more complaints that come from other states also... They are NOT the place to go. In one that I read it was stated that "Aspen Dental" was going down... I sure hope so, we do not need that type of practice taking advantage of the American people!

I too, have had the exact experience! I had only 12 teeth left and when they pulled them, they attempted to put in my temporary dentures. They were TO BIG. While trying to explain to the Dentist, Dr.Chandraseknar while my mouth was completely numb, she said that she was going to go talk with the woman that made the impressions. She never came back! The dental hygentist said that she too was going to check on the dentist and that she would be right back, she TOO never came back. The OFFICE MANAGER however, did come in to "console me" and tell me that this is just temporary, wait for the swelling to go down. On my post op visit, the dentist LECTURED ME on being RUDE and disrespectful. I said, "how can I be rude, I was trying to tell you that my temporary dentures were to big, and if they are to big WITH the swelling, what are they going to be like after the swelling goes down?" During my post op visit (4 days post op) another patient came in completely dissatisfied and was QUITE VERBAL with her dissatisfaction of her temporary dentures! She had the same complaint as me, temporary dentures clearly to big, crooked, they floated in my mouth, never once will they adhere to my gums. I have been in MULTIPLE time to get "relines" put in. This morning they made a "wax impression" of my mouth and also told me that my upper bone was to big and may need to have surgery! I WILL be contacting my insurance company to tell them to NOT pay ASPEN DENTAL A DIME for anything other than teeth extractions. I have also been bringing along a tape recorder to record EVERY SINGLE WORD that has came out of the dentist's mouth! I believe that is called INSURANCE! I did have to laugh that while I had my mouth filled with the "wax impressions" the dentist told me NOT to talk for 6 minutes while the wax set up. The dentist was trying to explain to me that my upper bone that might have to have surgery to be reduced, and then had the guts to say to me...DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS? I was told NOT TO TALK! I asked the hygentist to have the Dr. come back because now that I can talk I have a question on the upper bite...Dr. Chandraseknar never came back...THE WHOLE OUTFIT SMELLS SHADY...Thankfully, I am documenting EVERYTHING. I believe from now on I will be bringing in a video camera!
