I was contacted by a telemarketer from Raleigh [protected]) stating that she obtained my telephone number from GNC. She told me about two diet products, "Natural Nectar" and "Appetite Crush", that I could try "free" for one month and pay for only the cost of shipping and handling which was $11.94. She said the products sold for $79.95 and $69.95. I told her I couldn't afford them. She encouraged me to try them for a month and said if I liked them, I could get them at discounted prices. She guaranteed I'd lose 15 pounds the first month and was sure I'd be very happy with the products, which would only cost me $11.94. I asked her if they'd be shipped every month unless I called to cancel them every month. She was a little vague but said I could cancel any time. She gave me two 866 numbers to call as soon as the products arrived. I gave her my credit card information.
Five minutes later, I realized I did not want to rack up ANY more credit card debt and called back the caller I.D. number our phone had captured. The young man who answered said there was no one by that young lady's name working there. I said, "Oh, no. I just ordered something from her!" He said they had "another building down the street" and maybe she'd called from there. He took all my information and assured me the order was cancelled.
Today, January 19, the products arrived by mail. I refused them. Then I called all the numbers I'd been given and was told I couldn't cancel and if I didn't want the products I shouldn't have given them my credit card information! I said I certainly knew that! Also, when I called today, the name "Natural Nectar" had been changed to "Brazilian Gold."
I knew I'd been scammed.
I want to confirm Anonymouse Mickey's warning to stay away from these people.

I would recommend that not only call the BBB(which they don't do anything, they just take the complaint), that you call your back and have them dispute the charge and tell them about all the attempts you made to get your money back from the company and then turn them into the Attorney General in your state(they are the only people who can follow through with this, but usually they are unable to ever catch these scam folks). Don't give out any information to anyone calling for anything. If it's not sent to you for free, don't bother.

This has been the biggest joke of a scam that I've ever had happen to me. I called & cancelled my orders because I was GAINING weight instead of losing. The day I cancelled they sent out one order then two days later sent another one. When I received them I called them with my cancellation #'s. I recieved a RC # & was told to put it on the envelope, not to write return to sender or refused or they wouldn't accept it. Writing the RC # was all I had to do & wouldn't have to pay return postage. I took it to the post office & told them what was going on, they accepted it & I thought all was good. WRONG! It's been over a month now & they claim they didn't recieve them yet & that I was supposed to mail it to a PO # which I was never told. I've called & talked to Sarah 4 x's, Colt 2x's & Britney 1x. Never until today was I told about the PO #. Now I'm told I need a claim # to get my refund! I'm going to report them to the Better Business Bureau because they are a bunch of con artist! And the products don't work as promised!

WRITE (do not call) your credit card company and refuse the charges. Tell them everything about the scam, and how you've tried to stop the deliveries. This should be a lesson - always do this kind of thing in WRITING. Send copies of your correspondence to the attorneys general of your state and the state in which the business is located, any consumer protection agency you can find, and the Better Business Bureau.

Has anyone out there tried the product and it worked? I mean you must not be on staff list or related to any staff.

sometimes the card information does not go through when you order because there is not enough money on the card or something. So if you are not in the system then you will not be charged..

I also got a call claiming that they received my information from GNC and she told me all the same information. Except she did call it brazilian gold. I however NEVER EVEN RECEIVED my order of 2 golds and 2 appetite crush's, and I also gave my Card info over the phone! I called the number I had received which was a customer service for the company, but she said I did not have an account and that no order was made! I ordered it 2 weeks ago! Now I am worried about this also being a scamm and I wasn't going to post this because I was going to call and talk to AMBER, but apparently that is the wrong number.

I as well was contacted by a woman telling me the same thing about these two products, "Natrual Nectar" and "Appetite Crush". From what she told me it sounded like she was being straight foward and honest. Till now I was fooled, BIG TIME! This gives the product a bad name. I had no problem with the product it self it's when i looked at my monthly bill and i was getting charged 79.95. Not once but 3 TIMES. I have contacted then via phone talked to several people and still nothing. I just want my money back for the products that i DIDN'T EVEN ORDER! When she contacted me, she told me if I was satisfied with the product I, "ME", had to order. There was not going to be any future billing, shipping and to top it off I ASKED her if I had to call in and cancell anything she said "NO"!. "IT IS A ONE TIME THING. IF YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT YOU JUST SIMPLY CALL IN AND REORDER AND YOU WILL GET A DISCOUNT".
But that is the thing I didn't even call in to reorder. I just want my money back! I got 3 mouths to feed and 79.95 is just redicilous. I did try the products and paid the 11.94 the first time because I could afford that but 79.95 that is one of the big reason why I would not reorder

I work at brazilian gold/natural nectar. a lot of people do have problems with not processing all of the information that we give on the phone. We try to be as clear as possible about how you need to call within ten days of your order date and we even have people that call back and verify all the information that was said before and they follow a strict script that says within ten days so even if the sales rep does not tell you the verification person does. We do send out 30 or 60 day supplies that you do get to keep at no cost but if you dont call in ten days they send you out your next months supply so it is very important that you do call. If you are going to give out your information on the phone you need to follow all the things that they say. We are not trying to scam anyone we want people to reorder from us because we know our product works. All of the sales reps are givin a sample to try so we know what we are trying to give away. So if there is anyone that wants to try it out give us a call our product name did change it was natural nectar but now it is brazilian gold. Same product different name. My name is Amber I can answer any questions and give you all the information you need. the number is [protected] :) Thanks Virginia beach girl glad you liked our product.

Hi, I was also contacted by the Natraul Nectar, but my experiance was very different. I was contacted by a rep. over the phone of Natraul Nectar. (she got my number from an online servey I did) She told me about the product, what is in it, the health benifits about it, sounded good to me. So I did the 60 day trial. She gave me two customer service numbers and told me to call within 10 days to first confirm that I got my samples, and also to either cancel or continue with the product. I asked her if this was a auto-reorder, she told me "yes it is, if you prefer to reorder on your own terms then to call these numbers within 10 days of the order." She was very informative, and very honest about the process. She told me about the discounts that are available, and told just what to expect when taking it. (it was obious to me that she had been taking it herself) The day I got the sample products, I called the phone numbers, and the reps. then were also very plesent and informative. No issues about canceling the auto-reorder, I am almost done with my second bottle, and YES I will be calling back to reorder!
