Therapist Nancy Vadas has been ordered by a Winnipeg Court to never again contact or provide therapy services to the children of a Winnipeg family, for which she had provided play therapy for two years. Order dated Oct 27, 2021 by Madam Justice Mirwaldt.
The Child and Family service of Winnipeg, had determined she was “enmeshed” with the family. She lied to the kids’ father, and made secret plans with the ex-wife to keep the kids from the father, violating his child access. She refused to hand over her therapy notes to CFS upon their request. She personally concluded the kids were being abused without qualifications to make such investigation.
A six-month forensic investigation conducted by Dr. Rothman, cleared the father of any wrongdoing, and concluded Vadas’s own attempt at interviewing the children was misguided.
As of 2022, she is a defendant in an active lawsuit for breach of duty, defamation, making findings of abuse while not qualified to do so, Failure to being forthright and honest, Negligence, and behaving vindictive and malicious manner. Think twice about employing her services.
