I have a sole renewal package (10 sessions) signed up since mid 2021 for $2000+ at nail Palace Jurong Point and I went for my 4th session in Feb (I go typically once a month) for my usual appointment. I am always being sold on add-ons and package extensions, which I didn't give in to. Since it was CNY season, I was further pushed to take an "improved sole renewal package" for additional dead skin removal in my feet. I politely refused saying I find it unnecessary and it is beyond my finances. They further reduced the deal, provided more discount and still tried to sell it me (which says that the first price they quoted is exorbitantly high!). I still refused, since I honestly was not convinced. And I believe that affected in their service. In all my sessions so far, I have not felt such a poor job done. The "sole renewal" only seems to work when the packages are "improved upon" or "extended"! The thing I do not understand is, how come the first set of 10 packages of "unimproved" was allowed to be signed in for me in the first place, then.
I have attached pics for reference, taken once I got home just after the treatment.
Desired outcome: I would like the hard selling to stop since people come for a relaxing experience and they do not want to be stressed with saying no over and over again and being reluctantly forced into packages they are not interested in.
