I attended a time share with a company in the summer and for my time was compensated with a Spirit Travel voucher for a cruise and associated airfare. I submitted the endorsed voucher first by mail and then two emails, then sent in a check for a deposit, and am now in the process of trying to get my money back. The deposit should have been used to hold my selected travel dates: instead, once they have your money you then have to call a number which no one every answers to book the travel vacation. Over the last three weeks I have called over 10 times (leaving the on hold music play on my speaker phone for 30 minutes to over 1 hour.) There is no number for complaints. I will no have to write and mail via US postage to request a refund. I will be reporting them and the orginaal time share company to the BBB and associated States Attorney Generals> I am also speaking to an attorney who is interested in filing a class actions lawsuit against these frauds. Not only have they not acted in good faith regarding making good on the travel vouchers, they lie and sell your contact information "name lists" to numerous travel industry companies. I have been swamped with annoying sales calls and will be also suing for harassment.

I also have had an issue with the travel certificate that I received. I got to the point to schedule my vacation and I had already sent the $100 deposit When I talked to them they then told me to pay additional fees that I was not aware of. I am very upset with the way Spirit has handled this situation. In addition to that they refused to give me $100 deposit, since I complained an requested to speak to a manager he said as a good gesture he would refund me $69 which is not an acceptable so I decided to file a complaint and make everyone to be cautious when doing business with these people!

We followed all of Spirit Incentives directions to book our promotional cruise. Though there turned out to be no flexibility at all on where we were to cruise or when, (we did not get where we asked for or even one of our three dates though close). However we did get booked for a cruise on Norwegian Cruise lines -- and we aren't too picky as it's our first cruise ever. We will be going to the Bahamas, Jamaica and Cayman Islands soon (if everything works out). So I'm pretty excited, but also nervous that something may go wrong with the travel arrangements. To get our travel confirmation we were told by the message on the [protected] to go to mystpage.com -- it didn't seem to work; however, when I went to their site where they had a hyperlink to that page - I right clicked to open it in another tab and it did work - the link reads: http://si-valet.com/pls/apex/f?p=100:1:3949491496620062. I was able to get our travel confirmation with no trouble from that site. Maybe people who have had trouble getting into mystpage.com typed as they said will have better luck with the longer url? Good luck and happy traveling.

We also sent our deposit for $100.00, got a letter in the mail and an email to choose 3 different dates for a cruise, but have not heard anything since and it has been almost a year. We spent the money for our passports and our way to get to Florida, but i think that is where it ends. Most people don't have the extra money or time to waste on this, We came from Maine to Florida.

Just came across this complaint page, while tossing around this Free Trip? Idea. I see Stan L. did the same timeshare seminar, we attended with Wyndham. We also got the tickets to Ripley's and tickets to Wonder Works which was great, the tickets were legit. Also received a voucher for a getaway 3/2 days. If it cost $50.00 flat fee we may use it, but will not fall for the Scams they get away with!

Geez. I just got home from a presentation in "The Berkshires" Massachusetts and came online to register with Spirit when I saw this link. We initially were charged $40.00 on my credit card and were told they'd refund us the $40.00 back when we went to the presentation (which we did). Drove 2+ hours to the presentation which lasted for 3+ hours. We did not buy the "vacation package". Our prizes for attending were Fly 2 Cruise, 3 Night Vacation on which I'm supposed to register at mystpage.com and Vacation Getaway, three days two nights on Cape Cod. I registered the voucher for the Cape Cod vacation but not the cruise yet. I'm so disappointed after reading all of the above notes.

Has anyone got thru or taken any of these "free trips"?

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for posting here & to the op especially for starting this thread.

My wife & I attended a time share seminar this afternoon in myrtle beach through wyndham hotels. We were presented with free tickets for the Ripley's aquarium & a voucher for a 3 day/2 nite vacation getaway.

The tickets were legit; we all had a great time. The voucher, on the other hand, is torn into shreds & lies at the bottom of the mb city sewer system, since I flushed it down the toilet once I read page 1.

I can't tell you how much a few words on these pages mean to us. Money is tight for us atm, so even $50 would be sorely missed. Thanks very much to all who posted & good luck with rectifying this crime. Do what you have to do.

My wife and I have been trying to call [protected] for the last 10 days. The message puts us on hold and we have never been able to speek to anyone. We wait for 20 to 30 minutes and get discoraged and hang up. Prior to getting on line and on hold the message says make your resrvation on-line use your certification as your password. So, I tried it asks for my e-mail address and the password. I submit the information and it says the password is incorrect.Supposedly I have 7 days to make the reservation. What am I supposed to do.

Hello everyone, i had a co-worker that just got back from Las Vegas which she received from going to the timeshare presentation a few months ago. She stated that she stay at the MGM Grand Hotel...and she stated that she only paid $50 deposit for her an her twin sister . I have also attended the timeshare and received my gifts too. But I have yet to resigter for my trip. While at the office of the resort, the guy that issue me my gifts stated "that he saw that I was resigetering for the Las vegas trip and he actually warned me that the hotel that I would be getting would not be on the strip" I informed him that my co-worker had just return from Las Vcegas and that she indeed did stay at the MGM Grand Hotel ...he stated that he hasn't known of anyione that has stay on the strip. If there is anyone else out there that has stayed on the strip please let me know.My friend and co-worker said that she did ind eed stayed at the MGM Grand Hotel!

We are in the same "boat"! Too bad its not a "cruise boat"! Sent money for nothing but a disconnected phone number and phony e-mails. Should have known. I thought I asked all the right questions before agreeing (kinda like my first marriage). At $198.00 though, its a lot cheaper.

My husband and I received a Vacation Certificate when we attended a TimeShare presentation a few months ago. The certificate is from Spirit Incentives. Good thing I only registered the certificate for a 7 night vacation and didn't send any money. The brochure does not say exactly where the vacation is. I went on the web site to at least look at all the possiblities of different locations. Nothing is listed and no phone number to call and inquire. After reading all the comments and complaints we will definitely not be sending the $100.00 deposit or using this. I was a little skeptical about this deal anyway. Why would a person need to send a deposit for a "Free" vacation package. If something is free you shouldn't have to pay anything.
I think the TimeShare companies need to look into the companies they use for their incentives. This does not look good for the TimeShare Company.
Thanks everyone.

i had to go through spirit incentives for my cruise and then once i paid for it, they directed me to the royal caribbean cruise website, it was legit ; ) all i paid were port fees and flight taxes. my cruise and flight were paid for. when i called the place i do remember being on hold for atleast 30 minutes, which is ridiculous. my girlfriend is now trying to get to the mystpage website and can't, it will not work. so what is she supposed to do with her free cruise? there are no phone numbers to call in her email etc.

I too am waiting for a response from Spirit Incentives. I went to the time share presentation and was also presented with a voucher. I sent my check in for the 198.00, chose my travel dates, and am now waiting for word on my trip. After reading all the comments I'm really scared that my vacation will never come. My friend who went with me bought a timeshare and cancelled it a few days later with no problem and a full refund. Wondering now if I should just get my money back?

Has anyone paid for the vacation package that they try and sell? I bought one for $1, 150.00 with unlimited vacations. If you use the Friday specials that come out once a week it is 248.00 a week for a condo that is open in different areas.
But to book well in advance it is 500.00 a week and I get the first 5 at half price. But I haven't heard from anyone that went to any of these condos. I would like to see if they are as nice as they show. Can anyone help?

Just got off the phone with Spirit Incentives Reservation. Oh hold for 45 min. when Brian then answered the phone. He said I dialed the wrong number and I told him, no I did not dial the wrong number, I repeated the number to him and told him the machine answered saying "Spirit Incentives Reservations" he said he needed to transfer me. I was then told I needed to pay 75pp plus...I stopped him right there and said I am not passing any more money out for a FREE vacation and that I would like to cancel. He asked my name, address and phone number and that I would be receiving a company check for the 198.00 in 7-10 business days. We shall see. I will get back on this site once the check arrives.
Started out excited for a vacation and now it turns into excited for a refund.

We are in the process of making the phone call to find out which of the three dates have been approved. They have already received the 198.00. If someone does answer the phone I am planning on telling them I no longer want the free cruise and would like a refund. I feel that all these complaints from others are legitimate and no longer want to spend any more time trying. I do not understand how a company can work a scam for this long without being shut down...if this is a scam... it does seem strange the long process and all the hoops you jump...if they are legit you would think they would learn from mistakes and improve as they go along.

I am recently going through the process of getting our trip to Vegas. I recently paid them $180 and now have to get to make the reservation. I am hesitant on calling based on your feedback. Should I give it a shot? They said the phone call could be anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes.

Hey, I have attended the presentation on 11/26/11 and now i have 30 days to do my registration. I am kind of confuse now and also scared on what to do? After reading your experience with them i have came to a conclusion is just to trash the offer without registration. The offer i got is 7 night stay anywhere in US, Canada or Mexico. I would appreciate any suggestions here. Thanks in advance!

Everything about Spirit Incentives is a scam. Everyone has mentioned everything about the false advertising on their trips. Well, they also have tricks involved with their promise of $100 in gas. The trick is, first you have to register to get the voucher. Then they send you 10 ten dollar vouchers. You can only send them one at a time and you can not send more than one in a 30 day period. If you send more that one within a 30 day period, only one will be processed. So, basically you will have to make 10 trips to the post office over a ten month period. They are really just trying to stretch it out, so that you will miss the deadline. Plus, it cost to mail them off, but I said what the heck; I will go through anything to make them pay, so if it cost me $5 dollars for them to send me $10, I will go throug the extra trouble. I figured, they have to pay to mail the vouchers to me as well, so they are spending more money, for trying to be slick.

We attended a time share sales presentation on 9/21/11 and today (9/25/11) I am going on line to register our gifts - a 3 day 2 night getaway - an Island Adventure 5 days 4 nights - and a 4 night cruise. I am keeping an open mind and will report on our progress in getting the gifts we were promised.

wow. I came to this site because it is what was given, to register for what I'm thinking is my cruise. I'm not getting this, and as you can see I didn't get as for as the others because of what I'm reading. I'm wondering now if this is what it is called a scam. Have anyone spoken to the people that had us visiting in order to recive these cruises/trips? I don't want to go any further with this but I would sure like to say a thing or two to them about what they have done.

I have sent Spirit Incentive my $100 and am now at stage two - which is the booking of the cruise. I am a little reluctant
to book this cruise after reading all the complaints. I have called the booking number [protected]. The message is overwhelming
call volume, yeah sure, so I am getting the music but not the cruise. I think a class action law suit is in order. Is there anyone
out there that has actually got what the sales company offered - "a cruise for two only $200.00" :( my mommy told me you
dont get something for nothing. Bob

I was told that I had 3 years to use all my free trips, a total of 10 nights, now they dissappeared from the earth, you are not alone, they still owe me a cruise and 2 more stays of my choice in ca and got nothing but they got my $4oo.coo they kept saying there was no availability and wait for you to forget, but my 3 years is not up yet, they called me I never seeked them out
plus they forced me to do another timeshare presentation after I was told I only had to do one and I paid for these vacations in visa and visa said it is to late to get my money back for it is over 3 months
