My1Mag.comNever received magazine. Save your money and avoid this site!

On Aug 27, 2006, I placed an order for a one year subscription to Runner Times, It is now Jan 13, 2007. I have tried calling the company several times to no avail. Every call is picked up by an answering machine where I am asked to state my name, phone number and order number, so someone from customer service can look into the problem and return my call. I have never received a phone call in return, nor have I received my magazine. My advice would be to save your money and avoid this site.

    I ordered a year of People Magazine on June 17th 2006 - SEVEN MONTHS AGO! I too have tried calling the company, e-mailing, filing complaints on their customer service site, and have not received a single issue. Do NOT use my1mag.com!!!

    I ordered items back in July, which were supposed to be delivered no later than Sept. They never returned any of my attempts to contact them... and they took my money. Looks like they got out of the business.

    I just ordered Nov. 2006 two subscriptions New Yorker and Vogue. Never came. No response to inquiry for customer service. This company needs to face a federal prosecutor.

    I ordered 2 magazines back in December and never did receive them and they keep saying that someone will contact me and no one ever does.

    This site is a rip off. Do not use them! I Placed an order back in October for Car and Driver mag. And never received it it is now the middle of February! Several emails to their site customer service were never returned. I will be attempting to have this site closed down. This is a major fraud!!!

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! FRAUD ALERT! I also ordered a magazine and never received it. No calls/emails have been returned. I am filing complaints w/ the BBB as well as local authorities. Watch out!

    I have ordered from them too... I have not received the magazines at all... I have emailed and even went through my cc company... They are awful. I would never ever order again... Whoever is filing with the BBB please file for me too... No one answers the emails or calls you... Poor customer service... They are great about taking your money but not giving anything in return...

    I ordered a Christmas gift subscription for my grandson on Nov 18th to "My Big Backyard". I contacted the seller and was referred to a site to "check" on the order. When I enter required information, the site tells me it's the wrong info. and refers me to "support" which turns out to be a magazine promotion site that's up for sale. This is the 3rd time I have been scammed by magazine sellers on Ebay with no resolution. Will I ever Learn???

    I also ordered a bunch of magazines for people in my office as gifts. It's a good thing I didn't ONLY get them magazines. They were supposed to come in late Feb at the latest. It is now almost the end of March, and no magazines to be found. Arg! No wonder they are so cheap. It's a scam...don't buy them!

    My magazine order was placed through snappymags.com and I was billed to my1mag.com. Have not gotten any issues

    Never received magazine. Save your money and avoid this site!

    In July, 2006, I placed an order for a one year subscription for two magazines -- Wired and Popular Science. It is now April 2007. I have tried calling the company several times to no avail. Every call is picked up by an answering machine where I am asked to state my name, phone number and order number, so someone from customer service can look into the problem and return my call. I have never received a phone call in return, nor have I received my magazine. My advice would be to save your money and avoid this site.

    I ordered two magazines and with the same avail. I have yet to receive anything, and now the site seems to be dismantled. And its too far back for Paypal to do anything.

    My1Mag.com is owned by JOEL SIMKHAI. He is ripping off tons of people using the same scam through a number of different websites, including: HalfPriceMags.com, MagsForLess, SnappyMags.com, AlmostFreeMags.com.

    If you have been ripped off, please consider initiating a charge back on your credit card. I ordered a subscription in Nov. 2006, and was able to get my money back within 1 week. Waiting around for Simkhai to refund your money or deliver your subscriptions is futile. If the credit card companies receive a substantial number of charge back requests, they may choose to stop doing business with Simkhai, thereby severely threatening the viability of his theft operations.

    Also, please consider filing complaints with the following agencies:

    I ordered 3 children's magazines Oct. 11,2006. I am told to expect delivery mid Jan. My emails are not answered and the phone mailbox is full.

    Dec./06 credit-card order through MagsForLess processed by My1Mag.com. Publisher. Never received order and attempts to get matter resolved through My1Mag.com have been futile. Avoid!!

    I paid for 2 magazines n January 2007. Never received anything but a debit on my bankcard. I have sent more than a few emails and had responses back saying I should receive my magazines in about 4 - 6 weeks. That never comes. Keep your money and run.

    I also ordered 2 magazines back in Nov. 2006 and never received them. I've called numerous times and left messages. I've e-mailed many times and send a letter and have never gotten a response from anyone.

    Same story; ordered Popular Science in Dec 2006 and it never came. No response to an email to them.

    My subscription to People magazine has been cut short. I was supposed to get the magazine until January 2010. They are saying it expired January 5, 2009. I have a record of the purchase.
