Musica review: misleading advertising

Good day. We went to canal Walk today to purchase the new Xbox borderlands 3. My son saved up some money from his birthday and was very excited to buy it himself. We went to a few stores. In December the game was advertised for R699 but today we saw that most shops went up in price and it retailed for R999. He only had R700. But then we saw on the cover of the musica catalogue that the game is advertised on sale and u get R300 discount. At the bottom of the cover page it said offers are valid from 26 December until 22 January 2020. That was on The front page. That is eye catching and that is what you see so then we went according to what we saw and read on the front page of catalog. We went all the way from Bellville to canal walk and we were so excited to find it. My other son chose some trading game cards and my husband took some movies. When we had to pay the manager came.. He took the catalog... He walked away and then came back to tell us the game is R999. If you open the catalog in very small print next to the game advertised it says offer valid u till 6 January 2020. This print is very small none of us noticed it not even the staff on the floor because they still agreed that the. Game was R699 and a good price. We were not happy as it was his birthday. The manager was not very friendly. Next time when u advertise sale items be more transparent over which items as on sale. This was on the Front page... I didn't even open the book as I went according to what I saw. We were standing I the que with my son and then had to be told the price we thought we saw is no longer the price. We spend a lot of money on regular basis musica. I could not say no my son so we had to pay that price. I just feel it's unfair and misleading.
