They are members of MTM and Convention Expo, which try to rip-off money from unsuspecting parents and children. Just because a child has entertainment aspirations doesn't mean they should be forced to pay $5000 and get nothing out of it. They are examples of the worst in the industry: Ellen Wasser-Hrin, and Annie Holvey, of MMA Model Management Agency, in Langhorne, PA.

It's not just MMA, but the modeling in the Philadelphia area as a whole. With this being said, it's actually modeling world wide that has the serious problem. For male modeling: The days of the Stoic & All American looking boy are gone. We are being passed up for modeling work constantly for (anorexic, middle eastern looking cavemen) instead. Any agency or client with pull in the game seem to ooze over. Whatever happened to the need for the Channing Tatum, Brad Pitt all American model look. We are being passed up for a disgusting out of this world look which I would never wish to look like, or wish any of my kids to look like.

I don't want to make terrible accusations about the MMA agency because there are "So" many other agencies that don't pull their weight. Agencies that only book you with less than mediocre modeling work 2 or 3 times a year. That being said, the Philadelphia area is a complete joke when it comes to modeling. In fact, the world in a complete joke when it comes to modeling. Coming from myself, a 6'1-6'2" 190lb Chris Hemsworth look-alike handsome appearance, I am almost always passed up on modeling work, to anorexic, drug addict looking "models" instead. Which in fact, the few agencies that do have pull in the game, seem to ooze over... Please, if your child or you are a tall, build, & handsome all American looking type, modeling is not your career at the moment as the trend is for (middle eastern heroin addict looking people). Whatever happened to the Channing Tatums & the Ashton Kurchers model types. Well, those type like I are there, but we are constantly passed up for the crooked face/anorexic types instead.

Annie is very word savvy to the ignorant but to someone who knows professionalism in the entertainment world, she's very inappropriate. She makes racial comments and says every five second, "I'm rude, I'm not PC, you won't like me." She begs to be superior to sound like she knows what she's talking about, but in reality she's this old woman who shops at Marshalls and depends on her scam business to earn a living. I feel bad for the kids working minimum wage retail jobs that she rips off. She gives you some real info and then double talks with disinformation. She'll say, "A real modeling agency won't make you pay anything." and then she'll say "So you'll have to pay for our acting classes." Lol. Whatever she has to do to pay her bills I guess. Both John Casablancas and MMA are non-existent agencies. They are PAID EDUCATION.

P.S. Annie is out of touch with reality and doesn't really anyone of any size and shape and ethnicity as long as they're attractive and have personality can be an Instagram model and make money by posting online. She'll belittle you and claim that she knows better than you, but she's nothing more than a scam artist.

Why would the owner be on boards like this is she was legit. From inside sources Ellen Wasser-Hrin and her scam agaency are crumbling - just like her marriage! Ellin you think your husband can sleep with whomever he wants and it would not come back to destroy you? Get out of langhorne and preach your lies and scams elsewhere. Oh and how is that junkie and drunk you hired to train your kids working out? Parents keep away from MMA they are Satan and will burn in the fires of HELL!

I am a full time model and actress with MMA. I owe my flourishing career to Ellen and Annie! They, along with many other major agencies, scout through talent expos to find fresh faces and place in other markets to expand work for the talent. In NO way is MMA a rip off. They are 100% a true talent agency that books huge accounts. I can be seen weekly on QVC, also had a speaking role in a feature film, along with many other jobs which I booked through MMA. Ellen has also recently placed me in NY, at no cost to me, to further my career with a respected fashion agency and also with one of the strongest commercial agencies for on camera work.

Ellen has become family to me because she is one of the rare genuine business women in this industry. I refer all potential talent to them and suggest anyone reading this to go to them! Reach out to Ellen again and she will surely help in the most honest way!  I love MMA!

Please feel free to submit your signed voucher with the date you worked, client signature and client information to our accouting department and if the client has paid the invoice you will be paid regardless of when the job was booked. We must have verification that you worked the job. Please note that it is a standard policy in all agency business nationwide that if the client defaults on payment then an agency cannot pay the talent. Most model and talent agencies have this clause written in their agreements.

Please understand that all agency contracts read that if the client does not pay the agency or goes bankrupt then an agency cannot pay a talent. This is standard in agency business. There have been 3 Philadelphia cleints who caimed Chapter 11 and have not paid any of the agencies. Annie is no longer with the agency. She did her best with agency collections; however, the struggling economy affected her efforts.

This is incorrect information. I was hired by the MTM agencies to place their models in the larger markets such as NY, LA, Chicago, Miami, and Atlanta. I act as mother agent and guide and advise models and parents for work and placement. I have placed 125 models in thus far the larger markets. As an agent, I only get paid if the model works and the mother agent commision comes from the agent that the talent was placed not from the talent. Two years ago, the MTM organization asked if I would act as mother agent and guide and advise the stronger talent that got callbacks at the EXPO. I do not sell convention. MTM offers it to talent who want to work in the bigger markets other than their home towns. I only handle the strongest talent that the New York and LA agents want to sign for work. I am sorry if you took your child and did not get a callback but I did not suggest it to you. There are no guarantees in this business. I would gladly speak with you to advise or suggest a local agency for representation. Please feel free to contact me at the agency.

Ridiculous- Plenty of kids, & adults have moved on from the Expo and agency to sign on with multiple Big Agencies via Ellen & Annie. No one is forced to go to the Expo.
