Me and about 33 people here in Port St Lucie is experience the problem trying to get our Pool completed. They are not returning our call. They closed the office in Port St Lucie & Palm Beach. We don't know what to do. My number is [protected]. We have paid over 20000.00 None of our Pools are completed. We reported them to BBB and Tallassee. It has been over almost a year and all our pool is less than 45% complete.

Down to Earth Gunite Pools - I signed a contract with them on 5/9/08. My pool is still not complete. Company gives false excuses and when they will actually answer their calls make weekly promises to show up but don't. They advertise guaranteed completion dates but then never finish any pools. In addition we have had to pay the electrician, RCI Electric, two additional payments, because they say the pool company refuses to pay them for "additional work" that was never contracted for by us. They treat customers terribly, record conversations and sit around and laugh about complaining customers. If they would just complete their pools they wouldn't have any complaining customers. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH "DOWN TO EARTH GUNITE POOLS" AKA "EXTREME EXCAVATIONS".

It took over a year for me to get my pool completed, numerous phone calls, numerous insults from the companies employees, failed inspections. In the end I filed a law suit, that got them moving, completed the necessary work but I had to get the final inspections done myself, thank goodness for a great building department in Pembroke Pines. David Carol is a piece of work as are his main employees, one of them his nephew whose favorite word for customers is "A...HOLES. I was lucky to get my pool finished but these guys deserve time for the way they treat customers, even some of their contractors are worthless as well.

I live in Broward County and first signed a contract with Mirage Pools in May of 2007. The last time anyone has been at my home to do any work was October 2007. Since then they give me different excuses or fake dates that no one shows up to. This is a BAD company and all should stay away. I have paid over 90% so far and they have no idea when they are going to finish it. If there are any atturneys out there that want to help multiple families with a common problem, please contact us.

Thank you,
D
