Minoxigen is a scam. they are part of the Convertis company family of scams. SEE: eyepothesis on this site for info on their other scams. they also "sell" a tooth whitener product. They hook you in with a $1 trial offer. then before you can cancel and before the trial period is over, they send you more product as part of their "membership". They are VERY rude and they WILL NOT refund your money. STAY CLEAR OF THESE PEOPLE. They have MANY complaints against them at the BBB. When I complained to "customer service" about the billing I had told them by email NOT to do, and how all the other complaints against them on the web said the same thing, I was told that was "not relevant" (!). These people are as bad as it gets. I have already complained through the BBB and I will be reporting them to the Attorney General of CO. and my home state.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I answered one of those surveys promising Walmart gift card at the end of the survey. I never got the gift card but I did get scammed. I accepted the offer from Minoxygen for Thin Action diet product. According to the form I filled out I would only be charged $1.00 shipping & handling for a 30 day trial period. I recieved the product on 10/23/2011. I was billed two days later on my card for the amount of $78.41. I did not give permission for this charge. I had not accepted any terms that would allow such a charge. I did not get to check my card charges until the 5th of November, so I had no idea until then that I had even been charged. I have called the so called customer service 5 times. I asked for a supervisor or floor manager every single time, but three times was refused. The fourth & fifth time the person stated I would get a call back, but I did not. I was told each and everytime that did not qualify for a refund. On their own return policy statement it states within 30 days. I hardly think 10 days qualifies as 30 days. I just want my stolen money back.
This is the same scam as Eyepothesis. Surprise, they share the same address. Same tactic: they hook you in with $1 trial offer. Before you figure out what type of company they're running, they bill you again for a months supply. I followed their rules, I notified them by email and by phone (they called me; this is important see below) that I did not want any more product and that I would be returning it. I returned it immediately. I was still billed for $74.81. Good luck trying to get them by customer service; their website says 24 hr. customer service. No one ever answered. I am currently working with Citibank to get my money back and hopefully Citibank won't honor their charges anymore.
