I purchased a Mini Siberian Husky from Bree Normandin who owns MiniHuskies.net in North Carolina.

I have been in contact with her for months after the disaster she provided us. She gave us a dog who was full of worms, both round worms and tape worms. This took months to be cured after we got him and very expensive and aggressive treatments.

The dog that was supposed to be provided was a Mini Husky. Instead, she gives us a Huskyish type dog that is more other breeds than Husky. The only thing this Husky has is blue eyes; everything else is either German Shepard, Pitbull, or a mix of other breeds. How can she call herself a breeder of Huskies when she doesn't even breed huskies?

Also, our little boy has three hernias two near his tail and one near his stomach that needs to be surgically removed. As a boy, he has no testicles and now requires invasive surgery to have them removed. And now I have vets and ER vets telling me that he is too skinny when he eats like a pig.

All in all our little boy is costing as much as our Shelite who went through massive skin problems and treatments.

Bree's company is nothing more than a Puppy Mill and a fraud.

Hello! I’m sorry to hear you had a poor experience! Mini Huskies is now owned and operated by Danie’l Flores who has completely changed the operations model. While Mini Huskies was never a “puppy mill”, Bree become overwhelmed by the volume of inquiries and was unable to continue her studies and maintain operations simultaneously. We have established a network of pet-centered breeders who value small-scale, pet-centered breeding. Our goal is to treat our breeding pets as family companions and with the dignity all life deserves. Miniature Siberian Huskies are intended to look and behave like standard size Siberian Huskies. The Miniature Siberian Husky functions as a smaller-sized version of the Siberian Husky, typically weighing between 15-30lbs. Our dogs are beautiful, friendly, energetic, and make excellent companions! They are reared interacting with our children as well as other dogs. All dogs were “designed” when they were bred for a specific purpose. If you are more interested in purebred paperwork, please seek out a different breeder. Email us at minihuskies@gmail.com for any questions!

I just got a puppy from Mrs. Normandin (minihuskies.net). I am extremely satisfied with the services provided by this company from North Carolina.
I started talking to this company like a month ago and she always returned my emails. I specifically let her know about my reservations after reading this complaint page and she answered every single question to my satisfaction. Once we agreed on the puppy, It was an easy process to get the puppy to Miami (FL). She was in contact with me all the time and took the time to send pictures of the puppy's parent, real picture of the puppy and a good tracking while the puppy was flying to me. Maybe I was lucky, but I feel is my obligation to let people know that some people are happy with their service. As a last note, my white miniature Siberian husky is people stopper, half of Miami already took a picture of him. He arrived healthy and he is a great dog.

You do realize your dog is a heavy mix of breeds, not even a designer dog! good Luck, if you dont believe me dna test it!

We had some of the same issue.
Feel like we were taken advantage of.

Many of us have had the same experience with Bree. We have also lodged complaints with the USDA for falsifying health records in order to ship before 8 weeks. I have yet to see a pure Husky co e from Bree as well. Most are mixed with American Eskimo and or Pomeranian, German Shepard, and others. This has been so bad that we started a group on Facebook to compare notes and warn others. Mini Husky Awareness is the name of the group. It's a private group, so requests to join are required. Most of us have been blocked from Bree's FB page since we kept calling her on her lies.
