Mike came out on 11-24 and 11-25-2009 and repaired my roof, so I thought. I went on and had my living room ceiling repaired and when it rained the following week, the roof leaked and messed my ceiling up. I called Mike 3 times. The first time I called, he called me right back. Every time I called after that, he would not return my calls. Now I have from 4 to 6 weeks to see if I can get my money back from the company who sent him out to me. This man is not to be trusted. Their are several complaints on other websites about him. He will get the supplies to replace your roof and won't pay the supplies. The supplier will them put a lean on you home. Please BUYER BEWARE OF MIKE MATUSIAK !
Why do people post things 14 years ago and then go on to say things that they know nothing about I never had a problem with my roof repair and I've had other work done as well Everybody else wants to charge thousands of dollars for a new roof there's only one In Orange County willing to do a repair So I chose to do and someday I will use my 50% credit of the repair towards a new roof sounds like this other person didn't have the money for the new roof When the repair did not hold Lenoin Westminster
WOW, we had a similair repair done which did in fact take care of the immediate problem and also was offered 50% off our repair for new roof at a later date, which we also took advantage of as we needed a little time to move money around.Why these people are so readily vindictive is beyond my wife and i.we were satisfied with the services we paid for.
WHAT A LIAR MR. MATUSIAK IS! THERE WAS NO MOVE. HE WENT TO PRISON FOR DEFRAUDING ALL HIS CUSTOMERS. THAT'S HIS POLICE PROTECTION. ALOT MORE UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS THAN HAPPY ONES. CHECK IT OUT YOURSELF ON THE BBB AND OCCOURTS.ORG. PEOPLE FOUND HIM OUT AND HE TRIED TO HIDE BY OPENING ANOTHER CO IN ANOTHER NAME WHICH WAS OC ROOFING. HE IS SOMEBODY NEVER TO DO BUSINESS WITH. I SHOULD CALL ABC7 NEWS ABOUT THIS MAN WHO FRAUDS EVERYONE. HE IS NOT AN HONEST PERSON. HE DRIVES AROUND TOWN IN A VAN THAT SAYS ROOF DOCTOR. IF YOU SEE IT AROUND, REPORT HIM BECAUSE I JUST FOUND OUT THAT HE IS NOT LISCENSED AND HE IS NOT ALLOWED TO CONTRACT OR DO ANY BUSINESS. HIS LISCENSE WAS TAKEN FROM HIM FROM THE STATE. I HAD HIM INVESTIGATED AFTER HE WOULD NOT RETURN MY CALLS AFTER HE GAVE ME A WARRANTY ON MY ROOF I PAID HIM TO REPAIR. WHICH WAS NEVER REALLY REPAIRED. I CALLED THE BBB AND STATE LISENCE BOARD. I WAS TOLD THEY ARE ALREADY INVESTIGATING BECAUSE THEY HAVE HAD NUMEROUS REPORTS ON HIM RECENTLY.
Although this is extremely old comments The minimum charge for roof repair is 650 they paid $50 more when they were told they needed a $17000 roof and If chose the repair 50% of that would credit it back to the 17th $1000 roof which they did not have the money for and that's why they got mad How they got all these other stories I don't know and I don't care it's just sad that some people are angry no matter what you do you try to help them and look what they do they put comments that are false and fraudulent on your site
In closing we shoudnt have to respond to HATEFULL and VINDICTIVE comments by people who got paid for supplies through our insurances, OR SCAMMED US OUT OF NEW ROOF IN AREA PREVIOSLY REPAIRED, wont take time to email us during our move.Its really a shame that these 3 people OLD COMMENTS over shadow the THOUSANDS of HAPPY SATISFIED customers.We have been more than patient with your web site but leaving old comments from MORE THAN 2 years ago is JUST AS HATEFULL AND HURTFULL AS THESE RIDICULOUS COMMENTS THEMSELVES.Perhaps why will be forced to contact the Attorney Generals office concerning your unfair business practice or maybe even starting our own web site!
Customer Knox DID NOT contact our office or send us certified letter or even e mailed us back concerning his concerns.FURTHERMORE in the event supplier all of a sudden stops ther 90 day bill pay BECAUSE THEY WERE IN FINANCIAL TROUBLE THEMSELVES our insurances will foot the bill which they eventually did in fact do, SO WHY AFTER 2 YEARS is this still on your site?Doesnt customer get contacted to delete innaccurate information, or is this how you moke YOUR money!What a joke! Kris T forgot to mention that 50% which is 350.00 would be CREDITED BACK towards purchase of new 7, 800.OH SHE FORGOT TO TELL YOU SHE DIDNT HAVE 7, 800.So she wanted to try repair to get her by.SO WHOS FAULT IS THAT?Yes we moved office and lost SOME verizon phone lines but she never sent or EMAILED any notification whatsoever!GOES BACK TO HER MONEY SITUATION thats all!But to instead of emailing us she chose this path of deformation of Character when her own money problem started it all.TAKE RESPONSIBILITY instead of blaming others for your situation!Holy Toledo!
She left VERY threatening comments concerning my family and children we had to file a police report because of her explicit comments on my phone.OH YEA BY THE WAY despite all this she got a new roof over repaired area for FREE so she would go away and not HARRASS employees .Goes to show you there are always TWO sides to defamatory comments such as this!We are VERY carefull to do business with normal non BI-polar or forgetfull customers.PERHAPS there should be a website dedicated to consumers who go off the edge just because they dont have money for new roof so the bought a band-aid instead!

I used service magic to find someone to repair my leaky roof, Mike Matusiak came out and did the job he charged me $700 to do a patch job he gave me an invoice/receipt from A-1 Roofing and attached his card that says OC Roofing, last night my roof started leaking again, so I find the invoice and call this morning because it say there is a 1 year warranty on work - all the phone numbers on the invoice and his card are disconnected! I don't know what to do, this guy scammed me and I wish I would've seen these complaints first but I just used Service Magic and trusted that he was legit - I'm going to call them and complain, I have since used them for another job related to my furnace I better check that company too to see if they were legit! :(
Service magic is no longer in business minimum charge on roof repairs Is 650 they paid $50 more and they forgot to tell you that 50% of that is credited back when they had the 13000 to purchase a new roof system To go off on a customer's roof and build a fiberglass patch for only $700 when they should have spent 13000 And they're complaining about 700 can you imagine installing 13000 new roof system only to find out their check bounced ? There is always to sides espeacially when they were having financial difficulties!
