Mike Fleetwood review: Liar

YES! Mike Fleetwood is a liar! He had an ad on ebay for the cottages that hurrican Katrina is so well known for. Well, I called and got the sweetest sounding voice and story from Mike. All about how his best friend had recently committed suicide and that he completely understood about my husband and I wanting to downsize. So, we trusted him and bought one of the cottages. Overnighted him a check. He said that we could leave the cottage for a month or two in Lufkin and that his son lived on the property and it would "be safe". He even said that he wanted us to be "happy" and that he would refund our money if we weren't happy! Well, our nightmare began when we arranged shipping (at nearly 4K) and our driver went to pick up our cottage. No stove, refrigerator, hot water heater, etc. But the worst was yet to come! Our exact cottage was SOLD to someone else! And then the ones that were left were picked over and no stoves, refrigs. in them either. His secretary Elizabeth lied and said that she made sure that a stove and refrigerator would be in our unit. Our driver had to come back a second time only to find NO STOVE and NO REFRIGERATOR. I called Mike and he said NO to a refund. WORST: EACH COTTAGE WAS STUCK IN MUD! WE SPENT 3k MORE JUST TO GET AXLES AND TIRES PUT ON! stay away! His ad is on ebay right now! Don't be fooled by the pictures! You won't be getting any of the cottages in those pictures! Those are sold.
