This woman/site/kennel was originally operating as Miami Frenchies and I know from first hand experience that her puppies are imported from Ukrainian puppy mills. I personally experienced the heartbreak of buying a dog from her, and all of the problems associated with it, for both me and the poor puppy.

There were so many complaints on the internet, she shut down the Miami Frenchies site and is now operating as Pavbul at www.pavbul.com. DO NOT BUY A PUPPY FROM PAVLA GIBSON OR YOU'LL SURELY REGRET IT!

I also bought a dog from Pavla that has multiple health issues. Aside from terrible allergies he had to have surgery on both legs for luxating patellas. I would love to speak to anyone who has had a similar situation. My husband and I are both lawyers and are considering legal action against her similar to the lawsuit filed against the "Wizard of Claws". Please contact me via e-mail at coyle-lawyer@hotmail.com.

I bought the sweetest puppy from her, and had to suffer heart break because of it.
The dog had terrible seizures and one day had 20 in one day and became brain damaged as a result. Every time he tried to sleep another one would start. It was heart breaking and we had to put him down. This woman should be ashamed.

I too was given as a gift a frenchie from Paula 4 years ago and have had multiple allergy issues with my poor Laika. I have spent hundreds of dollars to resolved her issue or at least come to a conclusion to help her manage her allergies but have had NO success. At this point I feel bad for my puppy as she is always miserable with skin issues. I dont know what else to do and hate that I will eventually face heartbreak as her life span will be cut short due to all the pills she has to take. If any one has encountered these skin issues please let me know if you were successful in resolving. I just want my frenchoe to have a good quality of life. She should be ashamed of the way she makes a living by making these poor, loving frenchies suffer for her benefit. I could be contacted at maloandrea2@hotmail.com

We have two beautiful and healthy Frenchies that we bought from Pavla. My boy is one and a half and my girl is almost three and neither have any health problems. I'm quite shocked by these comments. I met both of my dogs' parents (same father, different mothers) and they were all happy and healthy as well. If these are, in fact, comments left by real people and not some sort of anonymous character assassination then I am very sorry for your hardships, but they are not indicitive of my experience at all.

We bought our female frenchie from Paula in 2008 and, knock on wood, have been very pleased by the health and disposition of our little "Sacha". She was 4 months old at purchase and very friendly and well adapted. Her temperament is very good and physically she is a beautiful creature with great lines and a beautiful coat. Paula introduced us to our puppy's father and mother, both of which looked strong and sturdy. We have received many compliments over the years on our Sacha's appearance and friendly demeanor. She's a typical frenchie and has some of the usual quirks - at a certain age she became more assertive and has wanted posters of her posted at most of the dog parks in the Miami area, she has had a number of vet emergency visits but thesse were mostly self induced and the result of her mischief (crashing into the glass aquarium attempting to attack the fish, getting into chocolate, getting into almonds, eating a sago palm bush, getting into a fight at the doggie day care... I understand from the reading that in general frenchies are prone to have congenital health issues, but thank God, this has not been the case with our muffin... We are very grateful to Paula for having brought this little rascal into our life...

*Let me start by saying the only reason I came across this site is because I lost Paula's number and am looking to get another one of her dogs.
I have had completely different experiences than the person who posted the complaint. I bought my frenchie in 2008 (making him nearly 9 years old) right before they were super popular. We live in NYC and attend frenchie meet ups every month. People are always asking other owners about health, who he breeder is, etc. every time someone asks him hold old my dog is, they can't be livid it. They say he looks like a puppy still. Great shape, amazing demeanor, high energy level, NO health issues. Usually when I ask the owners back if they have had health issues with their frienchie, they give me a fairly long list and the dog is usually less than half the age of mine. Many MANY times I am asked for my breeders contact info because people are drawn to my dog and his overall look and personality.
I have all the proper AKC paperwork and had never had an issue getting in touch with Paula. The entire experience in buying my dog was amazing as I meet the mother before she was Inceminated and was notified that it was successful. Then was called when before she was going to the vet for the C-section. I stopped over every few weeks to say hi and see my boy. Finally took him home and have been insanely happy.
