Read the fine print before you book your courses alot of hidden cost. I asked for a refund and was told that there was a $ 100 fee for administion with I was not told when I booked the course but they said they told me so on the phone, they did not inform me. I called to cancel the next day and they have already put the transaction though. It has been a month and a half so far and no refund which they said would take a month. I have being calling and getting the run around from them. I don't see getting the refund anytime soon. So god luck if you go with metro truck driving school.

I went there my D licence. They asked me if I was interested in getting the A Z licence I said maybe later on, then owner told to leave $300 deposit and he was going to give it back if I don't take the training. In the end I didn't take the training and he never gave me the $300 back. I called many times and played stupid.

To everyone taking this course.

If this was not a accredited course
The ministry of transportation would have not approved them and they wouldnt be in business.
They do know what they are doing because I had an az licence a long time ago then I dropped it
It was not takin from me because I decided to drive dump trucks for a living dz
They are teaching you the same things that the other courses are and then some
I have seen very little difference in the way we are being taught
Your were givin a dvd to study and also they give you a online course to study also.
It appears that your not studying
The reason the course may be a lot cheaper is because some cant afford the high priced courses out there
So this is probably why you think that way
You have to study study study

I personally do know they are doing the right training because I have takin a high priced course before,
Very little difference in the way they train you,
All courses are some what different in the way they train you.
If you havent noticed that there is no in class training its because you have to study what they have given you.
Honestly I believe this course is better than those big $ courses.
And im very happy with the training because I study once a day so when I get there I have a good idea of what to do and whats expected of me.
So plz dont blame them if your not not studying its not there fault.

Thanx for reading my post study study study

Beware beware beware! this has been one of the worst experiences that I have ever encountered with a business. I am one lesson away from completing my driving school with metro and I can safely say that this has been a total waste of my time and money. i, like many others i`m sure, was immediately drawn to the price of the metro driving school program. $1300 compared to upwards of $6000 at some other institutions. now it all makes sense. this school is not an accredited school, and 95% of employers will not accept this as sufficient training when trying to apply for a job in transportation. the in yard "circle check" course is an absolute joke! the "instructors" spend 20 minutes out of the 4 hours doing an initial circle check with the students to show them the "proper" way to do it. the remaining 3.5 hours was spent watching each of the students go through the process, all of us not having a clue what we are doing. where were the instructors? off who knows where chatting. stopping by every 30 minutes or so to simply watch, and then disappearing again. bottom line... do not make the same mistake I did. save your money and go to a proper, accredited school.

I heard good training about metro. one should always read the documents you sign in detail. lot of people dont read the small print. if you are not smart you will be *$*d... as long as their training is goood thats what counts

If the papers you signed do not state anything about a $100 non-refundable fee I would fight it. the papers should spell out everything and if it doesn't state anything about non-refundable fees you should be able to get your money back.
