I took my car, a 2021 GLS 450, in for routine service to Mercedes Benz of Tampa. One of the isuess that I asked them to look into was the sunglass holder. This built in compartment would not open or close correctly with it becoming jammed frequently. When I picked up the car the holder was completely removed and replaced with a blank cover, I was told that this is the way the replacement part came in from Mercedes. I advised them that this was not accepatble to me, mainly because I drive with prescription glasses and use this compartment daily and that the car was purchased with this feature. I was advised that Mercedes would contact me with an update and as of today this has not happened.
Desired outcome: A cash credit for the removal of the optipn if it is no longer availbale.
