On July 3, 1021 my mother was admitted to the hospital because her oxygen dropped. Well, today my daughter was informed that the nurses were being very rude to her grandmother. Did not want to help her to the bathroom, and placed her grandmother in a depressed state like she was bothering them. My the oldest daughter went over there to be with her grandmother and saw for herself they were still being rude and very hateful. I called myself around to the front desk at the emergency dept and Rita I asked could I speak to my mother, she said it's no phones in the rooms in the emergency dept I said ok. And asked if she could do me a favor and tell my mother we were coming up there to be with her. Rita replied, when I get time, I asked for her name. Her whole attitude changed, she then informed me that she would ask security to do this. I was informed by my daughter, then are still displaying nasty hateful ways. My mother in the last 2 years has endured a lot of death her oldest daughter died, then her oldest son had a heart attack and then a month ago they found my 29 year old niece dead in her bed on Mother's Day. What I'm confused about is your mission statement: it's says to extend the compassionate ministry of Jesus by improving the health and well being of our communities and bring good help to those in need, especially people who are poor, dying and undeserved) how when they are doing the opposite. Do you think Jesus would really treat people as horrible as maryview treats people and makes them feel bad like they are bothering them?
Next values state; we commit to uphold the sacredness of life and to be respectful and inclusive of everyone. This is not true.
Your next statement says compassion we commit to accompany those we serve with mercy and tenderness., recognizing that being with is as important as doing for. These missions and commitment are not true. When u make your patients depressed, they are about to cry, she already feels useless. Is this how you would want someone to treat you or your family?
