This company sucks. They have a computer that calls you at all hours and even on Sunday with a message that you "need to call us IMMEDIATELY". You return the call only to find them closed. No wonder their BBB rating is an 'F'.
Even their caller ID number is a hoax. They call from [protected]. No such number. They suck.
So I got danny dyer's office number. He's the CEO. Every time their computer called me, I called and left a horrible message on his recorder. This way he was harassed, just like me. So they misapplied a payment so they could claim a default, and they sued me- in Pennsylvania. They won, of course. I didn't deny I owed them; I refused to be harassed. They just wanted to show me their power. Now, their 'lawyer', george pelose has the ball. He's also the VP of marlin leasing. What a cozy package. He makes over $300 K, and they have to stoop to harassment to get it. Mortgages in Haddonfield and Moorestown must really be expensive.
DO NOT LEASE, BORROW, BEG, STEAL, OR OTHERWISE HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE LOW-LIFES AT marlin leasing. If you do, you'll be sorry. They suck- BIG TIME!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I had my copier lease with them. In my opinion, they are the most unethical, untrustworthy scam company in America. Miss or be late with a payment and they will f*** you as much as they can. STAY AWAY! NEVER USE THEM!
I could not agree more. STAY AWAY from Marlin Leasing, AT ALL COSTS. They are a huge rip off. Not only that, but they talk out of both sides of their "mouth." Because of financial harshipt, our firm dissolved, and we needed to send two copy machines back to them with one year left on the lease. Marlin claimed that the non existent firm owed them in excess of $45, 000 for a lease term that had only 1 year left. Marlin claims that the copy machines are worth $30, 000- and they are threatening to sue us. But they refuse to take the machines back to partially offset what is owed, saying that the machines are not worth anything! And they are absolutely miserable to deal with. Their customer "service" is a joke.
I agree 100% Marlin took a couple pages out of the Pitney Bowes booklet - "How to be really successful with poor customer service while we hide between the coattails of our Attorneys" Both suck, I hope both go out of business soon !
Agree. They quoted me a ridiculously high rate, then somehow they worked me into a "special" program for a better rate. Got a hidden 95.00 processing fee and don't tell you they are going to add 25% "taxes" each month. Practically criminals.
I asked why I wasn't quoted taxes, and the customer service rep said they don't always know how much taxes will be. Funny, the salesman accidentally sent me a document with a higher rate on it at the last minute until I told him it was wrong, and guess what, that was the total after these supposed "taxes" that he wasn't"aware" of...when I told him it was too high, he didn't mention that was the estimated total, he sent me a new quote 100.00 lower instead and said it was a mistake. Crooks.
Totally agree - this is a terrible, dishonest company. DO NOT USE MARLIN LEASING!
