My family and I went to Puerto Vallarta on vacation a year ago on January 2009. The first night we stayed in Hotel Rositas next to el malecon, it was okay. About mid day I went by a stand, a guy offered me a free weeks vacation if I went and took a tour at a Hotel, which he said that I would be paying the same amount as I was in the Hotel I was staying at. So my family and I went to get the tour. We got to the hotel and the valet guys took our truck. We made our way into the Villa Del Palmar Flamingo in Puerto Vallarta. The lobby was very nice and impresive. From there they had us go into a waiting area. A young guy by the name of Moises gave us a tour around the pool and treated us with lunch. The view was very nice from where we were having lunch. From there we walked back to the sales man office by the name of Israel Curi. He seemed like a very nice and trust worthy guy. He asked us how we liked the resort and we told him that we really liked it. from there he offered to show us the rooms that they had to offer, which looked very luxurious. We weren't there to purchase anything, but to ask some questions. They kept offereing us to purchase a time share or a membership as they called it. But like I said I wasnt there to Purchase anything. After trying to sell this product to me in so many ways, he offered to give me with the purchase, 12 extra weeks and said that if we purchase the membership, which was 16, 000, he would make a contract to rent 6 units @ $1, 000 each guarenteed for five years with Regal Rentals. I still had to pay $661.25. Israel kept the contract and told me that Regal Rentals would send me a copy but they never did. I called Israel and he told me not to worry and now the year is over and the rentals never happened. I asked Israel if he could put the first year of maintance on the member ship price, whitch he did but that amount never went toward the maintance. So now we are at $16, 595. He took my wife's credit card and wiped for $5, 000 non refundable money with out her being completely satifide. I was up to date on my payments, but I did not get what I was promised. So I see this as a fraud. What started as a dream vacation ended up to be a night mare. This has hurt my family spiritually and financially. The resort is a dream place, but the way we were tricked into buying this member ship, wasn't fair.
