I bought one of their 1" tab collar leather vests ... paid almost $300 bucks for it. Wore it once and a snap pulled apart ... see photo. Called and called these MF's ... NO f'ing response!

So much for their "guaranteed 4 life" garbage.

To all our brothers out there ... don't buy from these people - it's nothing but trouble.

. My name is Mike Mills and i can say for sure johnny Dee never has bought anything from us. Whats wrong Johhny got a problem with me... then you should take it up with me. You know where i live do u need a bus ticket? All of our products are made in the USA and Guaranteed 4 Life. we have Hundreds of customer testimonties that prove these two smucks Liers.

Look around before you buy from these scums - lots of complaints. The warranty is WORTHLESS - READ THE FINE PRINT. They list it as Guaranteed 4 Life so the numeral 4 is used instead of "for" - a slick little legal manuver. * NO GUARANTEE FOR LIFE * A little history about this company. This business was started by a club member (an actual legendary member of the club) named Li'l Joe and called it HA Leather. In 2003 Joe passed (AFFA) and a punk named Mike Mills wound up with Joes business and wife. He changed the name to Li'l Joes and it has all been down hill from there. He is greedy and dishonest to the core. I sent a product for warranty work and almost 3 months later I got it back untouched. He denied the warranty due to an alteration, which was professionally done and had nothing to do with the warranty issue. He then changed his warranty to exclude altered products AFTER he screwed me. If you look at his warranty on his web site you will see he has pretty much excluded everything so he never has to do warranty work. Without the lifetime warranty his vest isn't worth half of what he charges.

no real names no way to connect to you. my name is Mike Mills and My number is [protected]. we have been in business for 15 years as HA Leather and Lil Joe's for 7 Years . you can see Our Leathers on "Sons of Anarchy" .If you have a problem with our Leathers you should try being a man and call us, we honor our Guarantee. Its pretty well spelled out on our Policy Page. Like I said - I did talk to your punk [censor] on the phone before I sent you my vest, you then changed the warranty to exclude altered products.

I've heard the talk, ever wonder why your sales are down ? This is it. You got a big mouth when you are hiding behind the Internet.

To all bikers out there - don't buy from this loser - he's liar and a [censor] - no friend of the real working bikers out there in a club or not.

CARL ... If you need snaps or a snap fixed just call Carl.
They are covered under the warranty ...that has nothing to do with alterations... but who can tell you Mr expert. and please put on a picture of your professional alteration job and let us see what you got.
As i recall this started over two two years and you wanted me to replace your vest or take it in as a trade? we don't replace altered vests or take altered vests in as trades for any reason. So stop Whining!

"Guaranteed 4 Life" or "Guaranteed for Life": are the same thing what is wrong with you Carl are you [censor]ed .

If your pissed Carl and want to fight me... all you have to do is call, I will meet you ...there's no fear here Carl.

you should probably watch who you talk about and who you are trying to discredit with out facts maybe read up on someone first find out if the are who they say they are its pretty easy! Maybe read about the laughlin river run 2002. Shoot they did A service for a lot of folks, they could have shut the buisness down and you wouldnt even of had a chance to buy a qaulity vest as they make but you would be complaining about somebody else though wouldn't you. They didnt make you buy there products either...

I got one of Mike's jackets years ago, and I'm sure I'll be able to hand it down to my grandkids. During the order process I spoke to Mike several times, and he always got right to the point, and got exactly what I needed. The guys complaining here sounds like a couple of wusses who hide behind the internet. They will certainly never say any of this to Mike's face. Don't believe the anti-hype. Lil Joe's leathers are 100% bad-###.

I have never posted on lil joes or joined any coversation before today. I was simply looking for a little first hand "brotherly advice" on the lil joes quality and advailability. What i found was a big box of tampons and a bunch of weak chest beating. Stop spitting at each other, grow some grapes, slap a piece of duck tape on the vest and go for a ride... on a motorcycle! Not your VW with the plastic flower. That is what bikers do, right?
Lil joe, now i know im interested in one of your vests.

I just purchased the 4 pocket Joe on August 19th 2015. I received better communication from Lori than I did from Mike. Ther still could be some more improvement from Mike. I ordered an XL after going over the measurements with Mike via email and Lori on Messenger on Tuesday the 18th. I got it Friday and it was slightly big so I sent it back on Saturday and got the large on the 27th. Turn aound time is unmatched. I did notice that the item was put in a box without plastic or protection. I mentioned to, them that customers like to see the item wrapped and get that nice leather smell.
The replacement was also not wrapped in anything and also did not have a nice smell like those from FoxCreek, Legendary or Hillside. I would have to say that Hillside as the worse communication but th product was softer than Lil Joes and as soft as Legendary or FoxCreek. Foxcreek has the best communication followed by Legendary. Still, LIL Joes is well constructed and a quality piece . Hey, no one or company is perfect.

I bought a Lil Joes Denim vest a couple of years ago. I wear a size large. All my vests are L, and all fit good, except the Lil Joes. Chest size fit, gut didn't. Since this was the first time a vest didn't fit, I asked if I could exchange it for an XLarge. Was given the old song and dance routine of re-stocking fee's, and a charge for this and a charge for that. I said F-it, give me my money back. And of course I didn't get nearly what I paid. Don't buy nothing from these creatures. They are nothing but money grubbing scam artists. BTW, I did NOT alter the vest. I couldn't even get it to close up, and only had it on my body one time to try it on. It was still brand new, as far as I'm concerned, and an exchange should have been no problem. I'm sure they don't have a giant warehouse full of denim vests that tires them out just to find them. No, they are money grubbers. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!

Same song and dance, we ordered a vest came up being smaller than most of the other vests we have ever owned so we emailed them asking for an exchange. After 2 days of no response I reached out via phone and Lori answered the phone and we told her what we needed to get done. She said she was away from the shop but as soon as she got back to the shop around 2 hours she will have Mike reach out to me. After 2 more days Mikle finally calls back and says hey how can I help you, I told him what the deal was and he said no worries will get the item right our ( have recorded call) he would send us a return slip. After 2 more days we finally got the email and printed it out. We sent the vest back and 3 days after Mike received it but no response from him so we sent another email asking for an update. After a few more days, we got an email back stating that the leather shirt was back-ordered and would be in on Dec 9th but no one has said anything about it being back-ordered. We responded to Mike stating that he had told us he would get it right out but now he is back-ordered, and he basically sent us a reply back saying he never said that and there isn't anything he is going to do about it. The fact that we have had to do all of the follow-up correspondence the customer service sucks, as well as Mike's attitude beings he is blaming us trying to state if all of that was true he would have a record of it in email. He basically just told us he can refund us the money of we can wait on the shirt to come in and ended the communications. No Quality Customer Service, No care for his customers, no respect and willing to apologize for his mistakes, and very rude.

I wouldn't recommend doing business with these people as they for one don't care about their customers. We ordered a lambskin shirt and after we got the shirt it wasn't sized correctly so we reached out to Mike and he sent us a return label for the shirt and told us he would get the new one out once he got the return in, on a recorded call. After they received the return a week passed and we hadn't heard anything so we reached out to them to see when it was going to ship. At that time we were told that they were back-ordered and they wouldn't have any more until Dec 9th, so we told them to do a refund. After a week of not hearing anything we reached out to find out what was going on with our refund and was told oh Paypal is having issues and we have to wait. So we reached out to Paypal and they said all Lil Joes had to do was contact Paypal and they could get it all cleared up, but it was basically left up to us to babysit and keep hounding Paypal for our refund. After another week we get an email saying that Lil Joes got the 4x ready and wanted to know if we wanted it. We said go ahead and send it as Paypal hadn't done anything with the refund and we were going to sell the shirt to a friend anyway as we had already bought and received from another vendor. After getting the new shirt it is literally the same exact size as Lil Joes 3x shirt as we had one to compare it to that a friend owned that he had outgrown and was wanting this 4x to replace it but it was the same exact shirt he already owned. After telling mike that we wanted a refund his comment was a word for word
"You just got to throw little snide remarks in no matter what. I've come to the conclusion that you are a [censored]. You just whine, piss and moan like a little baby since this has begun. I'm done with you". He has NO Respect for his customers and will ask you when it does t benefit him any longer what so ever. He doesn't know how to have good customer service and when you say something to him about it he gets mad and starts calling you names. Very Unprofessional Business. We should have believed the reviews on the forums that stated they are a thing about how his customer service skills are very poor and they hate to contact people.

When we returned the item now Lil Joes is taking 20% for restocking because their vest didn't fit a sit was supposed to and they are keeping $54 just because especially when their return policy states that you will be charged a 20% restocking fee for returning an item with a return authorization form which we had and included.

First time lil joes buyer. Ordered on Friday received it today, Monday. Opened the box perfect jacket and gloves inside. Tried it on and fitted better than any jacket I have ever owned. 3xl gloves are a little snug around the fingers but I put that down to having size 18 fingers, still fit better than any other gloves I've had.. I recommend lil Joes.

I don't know anything about the quality of the leather vests. I know a lot of our guy's wear them. The only issue I had was with one of the demon vests. I'm not sure, but I think the stye was magic something. Anyway one of my brothers had one and it was a nice soft light weight demon. I ordered one and loved. 2 weeks later I rode like 700 miles or so in the bright [censored] beating down sun. When I got there it had faded brownish area's all over just the front. Got home called and spoke to some chick who had me email her pictures. Pretty much told me there was nothing wrong with it and they were not gonna replace it. I'm not gonna Bash anyone like a keyboard gangster. I don't need to. I just wanted someone to hear my about how bumped out I was. Just went and found new Levi black denom.
