I have been working with this company for close to 4 months trying to get supplied with wicks for and external catheter for my wife. This company does not need my business as they have, over that period, consistently found reasons for not suppling the product such as "information supplied insufficient", "unavailable at this time you will have to resubmit at a later date" etc. you would think they would put a little effort to secure more clients. The Medicare policy (I am retired) has approved its use for incontinence, so now I am going to get my supply form eBay or amazon at more than HALF the price and submitting for reimbursement form Medicare which takes about a half hour if you have the papers from your doctor to submit for reimbursement. I would HIGHLY RECOMEND this route if they start jerking you around, don't wait 4 months like me and cause your loved one the pain of getting a UTI, which may result, if not caught soon enough, into SEPSIS, and even possibly DEATH the one you love. Purwick will be getting this letter about its contractor Liberator Medical, and I hope it helps others with problems with Liberator Medical also, in directing their angst with this company to Purewick. an there goes another hour dinking around from my life, hope it help you!
Recommendation: At the first sign of Liberator medical jerking, you around' use my information for another purchse aveneau another company
Thank you. I am glad you found something reasonable. I just downloaded the form from CMS even if I am not that hopeful of a timely reimbursement. Maybe if they had not doublecharged this problem wouldn't arise. I am experiencing the same problem ostomy supplies from Liberator. This must be related to Medicare reductions but Liberator runaround. E.g.. You meet the doctor and fax it in but they say they did not receive it. The prescription lasts one order when your condition is permanent. Even the doctors are not being very helpful. So now medical supplies are being passed down to the consumers. Liberator should at least have a self pay option but they are part of Big Medicine...
