Dear Sirs,
I was flying home from Manila sitting at seat no. 34D with my friend, Geanie Lee Yong Hsing.
I was having a slight cough so when your stewardess, Ervin Yolinda was serving the inflight meal I asked for a hot peppermint tea and my friend asked for hot green tea. I noticed that she wrote our orders on a piece of paper. After that I was busy doing something on my iPad so I didn't notice that my friend had asked for her tea again and got it. More than half hour later I felt thirsty so I pressed the service button, Ervin answered the call and I asked for my peppermint tea again. She just replied that she can't serve the tea now because the seat belt sign is on. But I told her that I asked for it before the seat belt went on. I am rather upset because the way she answered me since she was the one who took the order and if she didn't do it in time she should apologise and said that she will do immediately after the seat belt sign is off. I am also in the service line I always believe that if someone overlooked a promise he/she should apologise first.
Minutes after Evrin left, another steward, Victor Naidu came to me and tell me again that they can't serve tea now because the seat belt is on. I believed that Evrin must have complained to him that I am a difficult customer. So I explained the whole story to him and asked for his name and his lady colleague.
I traveled quite often but I rarely fly SQ and your company is known to give good service but my experience from the above makes me disappointed.
Best regards
