On or about March 8, 2007, I received a phone call from Gus from Lead To Realty, informing me I had completed a survey. He was calling to sell me real estate leads. He stated several times, that I could purchase one (1) lead from Lead To Realty. I specifically asked him how was the lead information verified and if their system was setup to only send me potential home buyers that were purchasing over $200,000. He stated yes. He then informed me that since someone had contacted me last year regarding the service, he would honor the last year price of $29.95 and I would be charged $29.95 for my one lead. I subsequently received a total of 5 leads. I contacted the company on the morning of March 9, 07 and informed them that I had received additional leads even though I only purchased 1 lead. Customer service informed me that, was not possible since they had a 5 lead minimum. I told them that I had no knowledge of a 5 lead minimum and that the sales person had sold me 1 lead for $29.95 I then informed them that their salesperson had committed fraud and had at no time mentioned a 5 lead minimum. I was subsequently charged $39.95 five times, as 5 separate transactions. $199.75 is the total, at no point and time did I ever discuss or authorize a transaction of $199.75. The one lead I received and called on, was not what I asked for. I was told that my one lead would be for a buyer in the price range of $200,000. The buyer was only in the price range of $130,000. Had the sales person mentioned a charge of $199.75 I would have never purchased their service. They are now saying it was a miscommunication between myself and the salesperson. There was no miscommunication. I know what I purchased and what the salesperson offered to me. This fraud was done intentionally. Once the company has stolen your money out of your account, they attempt to tell you that it was a miscommunication. The company is now refusing to refund me my money.

Lead to Realty are a bunch of criminals. To the people that defended Lead to Realty. We know that most of you are bogus posts and you work for the company. The bottom line is that LEAD to Realty are con artist and what I paid for is not what I received. I agreed to pay for 1 lead at $29.95 and was charged for $199.75 that is criminal fraud. The lead they sent me was bogus. Eventually, all realtors will discover that Lead to Realty are nothing more than ### con artist and we will put them out of business. I have www.joinnaca.com and now I generate my own leads, with buyers that are ready to purchase...
This person was racist against her co-workers the moment they agreed with The Lead Generation company. The moment this happened she went nuts at the office. Before starting up so much problems it's easier to read the "terms of service". After doing so Then can you judge an online company and there services.
I love these posts, giving personal opinion on different companies. Well by what i see this person seemed to not completely inform herself with everything before deciding to join. But at the same time the company should state the minimum over phone also. I will give them a call and test the system out, then post again.
Best Regards
James
I totally agree with you. They tried to pull the same scam on me. I received an email survey, then a sales person called me, told me I could purchase one lead for $29.95. I told him I wanted to check and see if any of the realtors I worked with had used their services... I asked him if they had a website I could go through... The sales guy, told me that the special was only if I did the transaction over the phone with him since I completed the survey. I told him that I did not give my credit card info out over the phone. He told me they were a reputable company, etc. As I was speaking with him, I was also doing a google search and came across this complaint... And others... He tried his best to get me to sign up over the phone with him... I finally went to the website... And once there, I inputted my information, which of course took me to a page that tells you, you have to order a minimum of 5 leads... When i questioned him about the website, he tried to tell me, that was only for people who signed up via the website. He was offering a special phone discount... YEA RIGHT! My Broker called customer service and of course we were told that there was no phone promotion and that you have to purchase 5 leads...
Mr. Salesman, you are a slick one.
What a bunch of crap...
I had the same problem with them. I was told one thing, and another thing happen. I was out $249.00 for no reason. I didn't have time to waste to get my money back... but know I got some time and I'm going after them too.
I've been with LeadToRealty for several months and couldn't disagree more with all these posts. I have had months in which I only received 3 leads from LTR and I was only charged for 3 leads. I have been able to close more deals out of LTR's leads than from any other company, and when I was sent leads that I considered were bad, I just sent LTR an email with my reason, they verified it and gave me a credit.
My highest respect to LeadToRealty, and my disapproval to those who have posted negative comments about them, because unfortunately the Real Estate industry is full of losers like the person that originally posted this negative comment, and they only invest their time trying to ruin others, because they can not invest it wisely.
Thanks LeadToRealty and keep up the great work.

Marvette, I've heard very good things about LeadToRealty from some of my colleagues at Keller Williams, and I'm very surprised to see that they have over 90 positive testimonials on their website which I just looked at. It's interesting to see that you posted the only negative comment I was able to find. I'm going to give these guys an opportunity, but if things don't go well, I don't plan on giving such a negative feedback because ultimately If I can't close on leads that they provide, thats because I'm not a closer.

How can they just charge my bank account. I have never personally spoken with anyone from that company. I'm retired and on a fixed income. They have successfully taken my medication money for the month. I worked for many years at a real job, these people are just criminals taken hard earded money from people.
I don't think the people who posted the negative comments would have taken the time to post them if it wasn't true. However, I signed up for the service today, because it sound like a good service, but one reason I know that the first complainant didn't lie is because the sales person Gus told me today that there is no minimum or maximum amount of leads you can request. Nevertheless if you closed that lead for $130, 000, that is still a nice return on your investment, so I think I'll continue the service for now.
Lead To Realty is a Scam
They say that the leads you will get are "Ready Willing and Able" to buy or sell whatever the case might be. That is a flat out lie.
I had 8 leads,
6 of which after leaving 8 messages never called me back,
I spoke to 2 not bad out of 8, but they are not RWA maybe sometime in the future, but definitly not ready willing and able.
I suggested to LTR that there sevice was a scam. As there are no refunds, they said that they would replace the leads. The 8 leads I received came quickly, I brought it to a head a week ago and stopped them from charging my card, I have yet to receive a replacement lead. When they replace a lead, if they replace a lead, they don't get paid for it!

If you sign up with any lead generation service make sure they have the following:
#1 Fresh leads - If a lead is more than a few days old, its a bad lead.
#2 Scrubbed Leads - If the lead has "mickey mouse" or "leave me alone", its a bad lead.
#3 Contactable Leads - If you can't call the lead, its a bad lead.
#4 Matched Leads - If you can't match up the phone number or get a secondary numbers, its a bad lead.

Lead To Realty, promised me Ready Willing and able leads. Not ONE of their leads was Ready Willing and Able.
This outfit is a scam outfit, they took my money and gave me nothing for it.

If you want to know the full story or receive some of the emails I sent to this scam outfit call or email me.
i worked for this company
Here´s the truth about everything:
Their main offices are in Buenos Aires. Why? Because they are miserable people and they hire expats or argentineans to do the work because is less expensive to pay them. remember that argentinean pesos are less than dollars. so a month or hard work, you get payed only 400 dollars.
their office is a complete disaster. its not cleaned, they dont use windows but they use linux to save money because they dont wanna spend any money on softwares or even ofice supplies. i remembr i had to bring my own paper and my own pen to be able to right down things.
their carpet is disgusting and the computers are cheap. this is the place where LeadtoRealty works. A very dsgusting office.
I worked in the customer service department and I really felt so bad for lying to the customers.
i know how this company works. the sales person tells them one thing and does not tell them the whole truth about how many leads they will send the realtor. they trick them into signing up.
after the person signs up, and finds out what a bunch of thieves leadtorealty are, they end up calling customer service asking for their money back.
one of the reasons is becaue the leads are horrible, out of the area, wrong numbers, etc.
the reason why the leads are bad and the sales person are liars is because they hire dishonest people. not only that, they hire people that do drugs while at work. one of the people would come in coked up. then other people would take "weed breaks" and smoke weed outside the building like they werre smoking cigarettes.
now you think you wanna sign up with leadtorealty? thnk again!
the validation department is a mess. a bunch of kids doing the job and smoking weed. they work late hours and since no one is there to supervise them, they end up smoking weed in the office.
now you know why the leads are horrible. now you know why this company is horrible.
another thing, they hire people from the states (in buenos aires) who dont have any documents but still need to work to be able to survive.
so they take advantage of this people, pay them a miserable amount of money, fire them, and pay them weeks later. not only that, they dont pay them the whole amount of money.
this company is a mess. please don't trust this people. i never did. i worked for them for one month and i was ready to leave. once my husband saw the office and the place i was working at, he asked me to look for another job.
I worked for lead to realty as well, and truly it is a mess. They treat their American customers as customers are treated in Buenos Aires, everything is a negotiation. They promise you one thing, good quality and qualified leads 9 out of 10 times they don't deliver. Yes, as we so eloquently explain and convince to you that it is an investment and that one good lead will make-up for all the money you "invested". However, allowing the customer service to only re-place a certain number of leads, means they will use every possible excuse to not give you the lead replacement. And yes it is true the leads are not quality at the level they claim them to be, at all.
It could work out great for you and you could hit the lotto with one of the leads, so it could be worth it you, bur personally it wouldn't be worth it to me to deal with someone like the person they wanted me to become to work there.
They don't understand that in the United States the customer is always right, they will snake through every obstacle you send their way to take and keep any money you send their way...because there nothing is black and white, bargaining between the customer and the employee is commonplace...not one of your 5 leads was good? that's strange...I can't replace all of them at this time, how about we replace 2 now and then next month 2 more...(sound familiar)...and the following month those two promised *FREE* leads don't come...good luck! or as they say in Castellano...suerte!
Although LTR is endorsed by a local top producing agent after reading this I see that his experience is unique. Online lead service companies are all a crap shoot so always buyer beware. What is interesting is one of the above supporters of LTR (Tim Wellings) isn't even in Real Estate 2 years after his positive response. No longer with KW or anywhere on the internet. I guess if LTR was so great he may still be around. That speaks volumes. Even below average agents can survive with 12 closings per year.
I tried the LTR program from 3 months (April 2009, May 2009, June 2009) at $50 per month. Prior to the 4th month, July 2009, I called the office and spoke with Dan and sent him an email to cancel the service. He informed me my account was on hold until I reconnected the service.
On July 1st, 2009 LTR automatically withdrew the $50 payment anyway even though I had both a verbal and written documentation to CANCEL the service.
I have pursued this company on several occasions with no recourse. I have a very low professional opinion of this company and question their integrity and ethics and do not agree with stealing from people in order to do business.
To date, I have not received the $50 stolen from me. No one from LTR has ever returned my phone calls, emails, or certified written letters of complaint.
Any Realtor who is considering utilizing their service needs to heed this advice: there are much more effective companies with the same concept and who won't steal from you.

All I can say is beware they got me too. The leads are bogus. Once they get your credit card number they will charge you for these bad leads and replace with more bad leads. They will not refund your money once thet get it.
Well, I don't care where they are, I had been buying leads from them for the last 3 years, and I have to say that I am closing one extra deal every month with their leads, not all of them are good, but if you have in mind what return of investment is, you will see that this company has the highest one in the market or business.
One thing, I am not the lead master, I just say you need to know how to work a lead to get a good result, and they deliver what they say.
Thank you.
Mel
Wow, I see that my name was used against my permission above. I've never had anything to do with this company and I did not write that testimonial above. I have an excellent reputation in the world of Commercial Real Estate, I hate to see it tarnished in any way with nonsense like this. Unfortunately this page is ranking high in the search results for my name. There is no other Judd Weiss licensed real estate agent in california. I hope this fraudulent company is already out of business.
Judd Weiss
I worked here as well and everything in ellebee's entry above is absolutely true. In fact, I am currently writing my graduate school essay on how much this company lacked integrity. They treat their employees terribly and their customers even worse. The management is a joke and the salesmen lied so much that I think they actually started to believe what they were saying. These people are not interested in doing good business and are only out to make a buck. They want to screw you as much as they can and then they will take their money and run. This is NOT A GOOD COMPANY and I highly discourage you from doing business with them.
I should of read these comments before I signed up. I signed up for three leads a month for three months and I am out everything I have paid for. I had two good leads but, Gus shut down the system and supposedly they had no way to contact me for many weeks due to a system failure, now the two decent leads are gone and the other leads were all BOGUS! They leads I did receive were either on the DNC list, already had a broker, already closed, no voicemail, wrong name and or wrong number. I was not even given a chance and now I am out hundreds of hard earned dollars. This is terrible and I would never recommend this service to anyone. Their customer service never answers, the hold times are over 30 minutes and then you go to voicemail with no returns. I feel bad for anyone who was scammed like me!
