I hired Last Ronin Remodeling LLC, owned by Austin Bowden, to build a deck at my home in Evanston, WY. The project was never completed, the workmanship was unsafe, and the contractor abandoned the job while leaving thousands of dollars in materials scattered across my property.
Austin was paid for labor and materials, but the work he performed was incorrect, structurally unsound, and dangerous. Boards were cut improperly, sections were installed unevenly, and the deck framing was not built to code. He left piles of lumber, screws, debris, and construction waste all over my yard, creating a safety hazard for my family.
After abandoning the project, Austin refused to return to fix the issues or complete the job. He also refused to provide a refund for the unfinished and defective work. Communication became increasingly unprofessional, and he stopped responding altogether.
I have photos documenting the unsafe construction, the materials left behind, and the condition of my property after he walked off the job. This contractor caused financial loss, property damage, and significant stress. Homeowners should be aware of this company and avoid hiring Last Ronin Remodeling LLC.
I am seeking a refund for the incomplete and unsafe work, and I want other homeowners to be warned before hiring this contractor.

Claimed loss: I paid the contractor a total of $2,814. This includes $1,250 for labor, $1,000 for materials, an unauthorized overspend of $209 on materials beyond the approved list, which totalledl $564 in receipts for purchases that were not approved.
Desired outcome: Reimbursement for materials and labor. Because he did a very sloppy job of installing the trex, the materials can't be reused.
