David Lane and Vanessa Lane of Lanitech Web Design in Roseville are con artists who cheat local businesses.
David Lane and Vanessa Lane of Lanitech Web Design in Roseville contracted with us to build a website that would be optimized for the search engines and charged us $1, 390. Weeks later, they said that they needed another $2, 000 to complete the work per their contract, but the contract was only for $1, 390.
The husband David Lane co-owner of Lanitech Web Design in Roseville threatened to kill me and my family. He said he would come to my house and shoot me in the face in front of my children. I don't even have children. He said that I should go to Small Claims Court because they are going out of business anyway and "F*-k the Better Business Bureau and Yelp.com." That they would not be able to help me. I am filing charges against David Lane and having him arrested for making terrorist threats against me.
BE WARNED---David Lane and Vanessa Lane of Lanitech Web Design in Roseville are disgusting animals who need to be in jail. We are a reputable business and have never been sued in 15+ years. Feel free to call me on the telephone if you want to confirm what I am saying. I have a paper trail to support everything I say about these scammers.
After being victimized by Lanitech Web Design, lied to, cheated and bullied, I previously posted on this website that David Lane was engaging in violent behavior, including threats of bodily harm. As part of a court settlement, I have agreed to post the following statement:
"I previously posted that David Lane was engaging in violent behavior including threats of bodilly harm and that these statements were inaccurate and I do not believe that David Lane is a violent person."
As required by a legal settlement: I previously described David Lane as engaging in violent behavior, including threats of bodily harm, these statements were inaccurate and I do not believe that David Lane is a violent person.
Lanitech Web Design has a long reputation of excellent customer service and quality work. This is evident by the lack of any complaints on the internet about us and our numerous satisfied clients.
In response to Mr. Baron of Superdog Inc, we have been very clear from the beginning via phone, email, in person visitations and the contract, the steps and costs involved. The initial $1390 was for web design only. Mr. Baron was aware by email, phone calls and in-person visits that the SEO and subsequent need for content writing would be additional charges and acknowledge this by stating he had an additional $500 budget for this work. Each step of the way through the project we were more than clear as to the steps, processes, costs and work included.
In addition, our employees have spent numerous hours on the phone with him providing free SEO strategy, analysis and structure work, as well as home page content writing, all over and above the contracted work of web design. We have been nothing but kind and extremely patient with Mr. Baron, at no time has anyone been rude, angry or threatening to Mr. Baron.
Once the website was complete and he provided us an extensive list of pages he wished our copywriter to provide new content for and we supplied him with the quote for this new work as well as the SEO stage of the project. At this time Mr. Baron became verbally abusive and left threatening voicemails and sent threatening emails. It was apparent he did not understand the contract which he signed. His behavior was so erratic we decided it was in our best interest to sever this working relationship which, for several years he had been more than happy with our services. In an effort to sever this relationship as quickly as possible we did not invoice him for the remaining monies owed to Lanitech. Mr. Baron received a full copy of all the materials and files related to his new website build via certified mail.
Despite this resolution Mr. Baron has continued to harass and threaten us. Due to the extreme violent, disturbing, and purely un-true nature of what he is posting on the internet, we immediately contacted the police and are in the process of pursuing appropriate recourse.
Upon researching, we have found that this is a common trend with Mr. Baron which can be found from many business reviews of erratic, rude and threatening behavior. Many other people have experienced this behavior from Mr. Baron, simply Google Super Dog complaints, check Yelp, Pissed Consumer, Ripped Off Report and even here on this board and you will see a barrage of experiences his own customers encountered which confirms we are not his first and not his only victims.
We at Lanitech Web Design bare no ill-will towards Mr. Baron and Superdog, Inc. but would like to set the record straight.
