On march 26 2010 we went for a vaction to mazatlan Mexico with my parents. We got invited to a LA JOLLA timeshare presentation. We were very septical! Cause we had been to too many time shares presentation already! So after 3 hours we were assured that all the paperwork was legit and if we purchased their timeshare for $20000.00 then they would sell our previous timeshare from El CID for $100000.00 through swap global vacations and we would receive full payment within 90 days. In addition to this contract they would rent out our la JOLLA timeshare for $4000.00 a week @ 1week per year. Since then have been very many phone calls and run arounds and now swap global vacations phone number is invalid! Is there anything that can be done? Please let me know. I see a lot of people have been scammed! Is there anything we can do?

Must we litigate to get your attention? Call us today, deliver the mirror and issue the $200 credit as stated by Nicole Wooley.

After failing to deliver over a thousand dollarsworth of goods paid in full to our interior decorator (we have the invoice written by Nicole Wooley) or even respond to messages requesting updates left by the interior designer and myself, La Jolla Lighting also fails to

1) Listen to or respond to any voicemail (thier box has been full for weeks now)

2) Apparently pay their internet service provider bill because a) URLs to which they refer on said voicemail only yields 'No Persmissions' and 'Failure' messages regardless of which computer we use to contact them b)the E-mail address 'customerservice AT lajollalighting.com' to which they refer on the outgoing voicemail message kicks back messages as undeliverable.

The 'By Appointment Only' sign in the door should read 'Gone Fishing...on your dime!'

The La Jolla resort is run by dishonest individuals. We bought in and returned the next day for a refund because we realized we were scammed. We had to fight to get in. We were lied to again when we were assured that we should check out VIP vacations. Give it a chance and then they would promise to refund all our money. No questions asked. The manager shook our hands. Gave us his promise and word. He said we could trust in the situation. We believed again. So stupid. I guess we really wanted to see the best in the situation. We checked out VIP. It was all fake. So we asked for our money back. We were told yes and then we waited and waited. After a dozen calls...still no money. And nothing to show for what we invested. A total scam. This is another forum with more complaints about La Jolla:
