Hello,

I was also fraudulently charged that same exact amount of $35.81 by KMASSIST.COM. Like you I found there is no such business and the number puts you on hold indefinatley. Now what I can say is that I buy my Android Apps on that debit card via google checkout as well as Netflix was registered with that Debit card. So with that being said, can anyone tell me if either of those were connected to their card. If so we may be getting closer to the culprit.
Thanks for your reply in advance!

I was charged $74.26 by Kmassist.com. I also have a debit card registered with Netflix for recurring monthly payments. If they have anything to do with this what should I do about getting this money back.

Thanks,

I too was fradulently charged by KMASSIST.COM the amount was $2.xx change and then $70.xx change. My card was shut down and now I am having to get my card reissued.
The only place I have used handed this card to a person is at the Advantage Rent-A-Car in West Palm Beach Florida. This rental car place is at the Hilton Hotel next to the airport. There was a Haitian SOB (he was rude) and a very polite younger guy working there. I suspect one of these two can put you in touch with the masterminds of this scam.
If anyone reads this from the FBI or that can do anything, it was on December 26th, at the above location in the afternoon that I shared my card for the first time in months. 1 week later I was charged by this scamming company.
Don't use Advantage Rent a Car, Hertz (owns Advantage) or Hilton Hotel who hire this ###!

This just happened to me today I checked my bank and there was a charge for $2.95 and another one for $87.13 it said from
Kmassist.com. I have no idea where this came from, I did not order anything. I thought that maybe they are in with a company that reads Illumibrite1888418884910328 and Novapay-ol877292hong Kong They also have charges on my bank account from last month and I never ordered anything. If anyone can get thru to these people please let me know brenda41560@yahoo.com my bank says I need to contact them but you cant get ahold of anyone.

I just noticed they tried to deduct $35.81 from me also and I link it back to the Acai Max Cleanse thing also. I am refuting it as I only purchased the initial offer & it was stated no further transactions would be taken. What a rip off as I didn't loose any weight - about a kilo. It was crap. Any questions anyone want to ask you can reach me at wolfspirit@iinet.net.au. Cheers!

I was charged twice on my credit card, from kmassist.com. At no time did I ever visit such a website, which seemingly does not exist. I also called the number after reading these comments, and received an automated message that loops, and puts you on hold almost immediately without listing the name of the company. I called my credit card provider to report this immediately, my credit card has now been cancelled, and the charges will be reimbursed to me. I recommend contacting whomever provides your credit card and dealing with it through them. They can also tell you what company the charges are from.

I too found two fees charged to my debit card one in the amount of amount $35.81 and the other for $1.07. Looked online found people with similar complaint. I found kmassit online called [protected] and waited about an hour. The rep who finally answered said her name was Maria and informed me the fees were for a teeth whitening product trial I signed up for in November and had not canceled the monthly agreement within 10 day of that date. She directed me to a web site www.cancelsite.com/mc and gave me the needed info to complete request. No refund will be issued and that product is supposed to be delivered soon. Hope this helps someone else.

I just checked my account and had the same thing! A charge of $35.81 from KMASSIST.COM. I also got hit with a $1.07 International Service Fee. I use this card for everything so theoretically it could have come from anywhere. However, I recently had another issue with an unauthorized fee that my bank actually blocked & notified me about. Turns out it was related to an Acai Berry Diet trial that was supposedly "free" (plus S&H of course) that I impulsively thought would be a good idea one night at about 2am in a state of delirium & self-loathing. I never did receive the "free trial" and after some research, I learned it is actually some bogus "company" in Australia, which would explain the international service fee. It's really a shame they are able to get away with this and you better believe I will be filing a complaint with my bank to see if they can reverse the charges!

i, too, tried the acai berry diet with the colon cleanse. it is a 2 week trial, although they send 30 days of product. i called and cancelled the acai berry charge but did not dispute it. then i got the kmassist.com charge and i think it is the colon cleanse "trail", although i thought i canceled both. I am disputing the second charge 35.81 and canceling my card. here is the info i have on the product bottles:
LeanSpa with Acai - www.leanspa.com - [protected] (this is the number i called to cancel)
Colon Cleanse - no website - [protected] (no answer after 1/2 hour)
this should teach us, eh alexfmac?

I bought some credits on Facebook for "cityville" and the next day this charge of $35.81 from KMassist.com appeared on my statement! So - be very wary! Also my Paypal account was comprimised. My credit card was removed from paypal without my authorisation! The only way to stop this was to cancel my Credit card! I was told by my bank to NEVER sign up for a free trial on the net, as they will only charge you a small $2-3 fee in the beginning, just to see if the card is authentic, and then they will randomly debit the card! They also told me that this site is linked with the Dietmax scam! So - basically, we've been ripped off and there's nothing we can do about it, except cancel our cards! Mongrels!

I also had a bogus charge of 35.81. Yes, I also signed up for the diet max thing. I have canceled both product orders. One via email and got a confirmation back and the other via phone. Lost that 87.13 and never even received the trial offer or the month that I paid for. Was told I would get $20 back in credit, but to no avail and get the two bottles that I had paid for. What a scam! Please let everyone know and I mean everyone you may know through facebook, email, work, friends etc...not to sign up for the diet max thing. I saw it through facebook and that is where I signed up.
Anyway, the bank canceled my card and is going to credit me the $35.81. Please warn everyone. They tell you that Oprah and CNN and all these other stations and celebs endorse the product. Please don't believe it.

My credit card co. called this morning regarding a charge of $ 63.18 and $ 2.95 to my card yesterday. They wanted to
verify that I had, indeed, made this purchase. Thank goodness for these credit card watchdogs ! I knew nothing about this company --- had never heard of them --- was home all day yesterday and made NO purchases
whatsoever ! Citi bank is issuing a FRAUD ALERT on this company and determined this company is based
in England ! My son-in-law suggested I "google" the company and all these compliants came up ! Sure
hope the FBI gets involved. Please, if this happens to you, contact your credit card company immediately
and have your current account number frozen.

I was just charged $87.13 and $2.95 by KMASSIST.COM on my Paypal Debit Master Card. I haven't even used this card for several months and I got these random charges on it. I called Paypal immediately and they canceled my card and are filing charge-backs on both of these transactions.

I LIKE SO MANY OF YOU HAVE READ ALL THESE COMPLAINTS AND I MUST TELL YOU I ALSO WAS A VICTIM OF THIS KMASSIST.COM ON 01-06-2011, WHO TOOK $90.08 OUT OF MY ACCOUNT, WHAT MAKES IT EVEN WORST MY ACCOUNT WAS MY UNEMPLOYMENT. HAVING TO LIVE EACH WEEK ON WHAT I GET FROM UNEMPLOYMENT IS NOT ALOT. I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I LOGGED INTO MY BAMK ACCOUNT AND SAW THE MONEY GONE. I KNOW BY WHAT I HAVE READ SO FAR THAT THESE PEOPLE WILL NOT BE CAUGHT, AND I AM SO ANGRY THAT I AM NOT GOING TO STOP DOING EVERYTHING THAT I CAN TO STOP THIS MADNESS. HELP

I was just charged $35.81 from Kmassist.com. I looked up the website and called the 1800 number. Of course, I never spoke to anyone. I'm w/ Bank of Texas and I have just cancelled my credit card and I have disputed the charges. Hopefully, I will get the $35.81 back. After reading the comments, I think this charge came from a free trial of Acai Berry pills and Colon Cleanse. I order a free trial several months ago and I cancelled the same day after realizing I could purchase the products at GNC. I would suggest never purchasing anything from any unknown company. Unfortunately, internet scams is the new way for criminals to make money. Guard your credit card number like you do your social! @TheLoveFistII- I did read the terms and conditions and that's another reason why I cancelled the same day so they were still unauthorized to make this transaction. I never tried the product. @ CraftyMomma- I agree.

I don't have a facebook, I didn't order any diet max thing... I have no idea who these people are or how they got my bank information. But I am PISSED OFF! They charged me $35.81. Which seems to be the amount they are taking from everyone!
What did you do to get your money back?

@A Dare...Call your bank, suspend your credit card, tell them you want to dispute the charges and why. Your bank might refund your money. KMassist.com probably won't answer your calls or refund your money. Good Luck!

I disagree, fister. Several comments indicate people were charged without buying anything and still getting charged, even on unemployment benefits. I have already agreed not reading the terms was my fault, as you dryly pointed out earlier. I believe these fraudsters are culling cc numbers and charging randomly. The fact they do not answer the phone is clue too. Perhaps you run a business just like this. You seem to know a lot about unethical T&Cs. Would you mind posting a link to these T&Cs that everyone on this complaint board apparently did not read? Then everyone can be as smart and well prepared as you are.

I think a lot of people been caught out by the mongrels. I also bought the diet pills and even tho it said free trial i accepted the trial...what I didnt accept is the charge from KMassist.com. I didn't request anything from them but I had 2 charges from them on my CC. I contacted the bank and they cancelled my card! An inconvenience but I have learnt my lesson.

I just noticed today, I was charged €66.80. I was first charged about €2.00 on November, my account was checked. I have canceled my card too. The product I wanted was a Teeth Whitening like other people I saw here, but what worried me is that I did not saw the advertisement on Facebook but somewhere else I can't remember ! There are not only on FB... The ad was in French, I live in France. One must do something, about this "Hong Kong" matter...

You make my point. They may have entered their cc somewhere at some point in time, but not necessarily for the products ascribed in the forum, nor when the charges hit their accounts.
