Joann Moore, Keyser WV/ www.toybreedsforsale.com :

I purchased our French Bulldog Chihuahua Mix Female on 7/24/16 and during our drive home, she threw up 2 times though we assumed this was due to the 2 1/2 drive home on curvy roads. And then threw up again a couple hours after getting home. Therefore we just accounted this as either the drive and/or nervousness.

That night and the next day she had uncontrollable very lose bowels. Since she was eating we weren't yet that concerned as her personality was started to come out and didn't really act sick. Then her bowels turned more into diarrhea and wasnt drinking much fluids at all.

I contacted this breeder via text and she said it could be due to the adjusting and keep her informed. Then when I contacted her again on day 6, she stated seems her belly is upset and it could be Worms since it's been hot, that Hookworms can turn into Coccidia. (I have paperwork that says she treated her previously for Hookworms on 7/12 -12 days before my purchase).

Btw, Hookworms can NOT turn into Coccidia, as this Breeder stated via text to me. They are two separate things

Since my pup continued to have diarrhea we were getting very worried. We took her to our Vet on Day 8. Several issues- After her stool sample was read...Our puppy was diagnosed with 1)Hook Worms and 2)Coccidia. Therefore had to start medicine for both. Also, Breeders paperwork she gave me for my puppy, stated my puppy had 3)Lyme Vaccine...though my Veterinarian says that was way too early, if she even had that. At this point, we can not believe anything this Breeder has told us.

Therefore, I had to do the Parvo vaccine as well to insure my puppy will not get any sicker.

I texted the breeder with this diagnosis and also stated via my research & per the Vet- Coccidia has a 13day incubation period. This clearly shows my puppy had this before we bought her, as we had only had her 8 days by that time.

The Breeder replied with UNTRUE information- 1) Stating ALL dogs have Coccidia and 2) The incubation is 3 days.

I asked for only 1/2 of this vet bill, which I thought was reasonable. (Though not even realizing this was not the end of Vet bills due to the Hookworms and Coccidia.) She denied and offered to take back our new loved family member and refund our purchase price. Or exchange for a papered Merle Yorkie valued at $1200.

I then asked her for her Veterinarys information as the paperwork she gave me stated my pup even had Lyme Vaccination. Though my Veterinarian says 4 week old puppy's should not have.

After asking for her Veterinarys information, she has blocked me via Facebook and as well as my cell number.

I have just had our 3rd Sick appointment for Hookworm & Coccidia. Our puppy has had to have 2 treatments of medicine for Hookworm and does not have now. But she still has Coccidia and we are on our 3rd round of medicine.

We are now up too $265 in sickness appointments due to her selling us our sick puppy.

Do NOT buy from KJ'S CROSS COUNTRY KENNELS - aka www.toybreedsforsale.com.

Correction - I did not include that latest Bill. The total so far is $391.66 for our puppy's sick vet appointments.

How is your puppy now? My pup was also very skittish of people and even other animals. Though now 2yrs old is improving. I am the one that purchased and put in my complaint Sept 2016 about my horrible experience with KJ's Cross Country Kennels now doing business as KJ'S Cross Country Fur Babies. For all to know- she does keep these puppies outside up the road from her house. And brings them down to be purchased.

Don’t buy from kj’s cross country fur babies! I paid 1500.00 for a chocolate Yorkshire terrior and received a Maltese/yorkie mix that was infested with fleas and eggs, he couldn’t walk straight and wasn’t eating. Vet bill almost 300.00. Sent Joanne a copy and asked her to refund my money, she wouldn’t. I had his dna tested showed 68%maltese 28 yorkie. I sent Joanne the results she blocked me. My husband called and no answer. He asked her to return his call we needed to talk. She has not replied. I love my puppy and she has him registered as Yorkshire terrior purebred through c.k.c. She should not get away with what she’s doing and I’m going to try to get her stopped!

I purchased my Chihuahua 9/27/16 paid 650... the dog was very shy? Won't eat? I called 3 days later, she finally told us that he was the last of the liter and had been with the parents the whole time ... I told her I didn't want to take him from his parents he's home sick... she agrees and offered me another puppy ?! Of course, it never happened! He's very skittish, I cry cause he won't come to anyone he just started to come to me it's been almost 10 months and he still isn't his self ... she never returned my calls, and told her that he doesn't have a good quality of life and she agreed and yet, I still have him! I love him but she is out for the MONEY, not the happiness or health of her puppies

How is your puppy? Btw, I too was told my puppy was the last of liter. Not sure why our dogs are both skittish. I contributed mine due to being sold a sick puppy with Hookworms & Coccidia- therefore couldn't be around other animals for the first 4 months while being treated since its contagious.
