Cheating case against top builder & one of the top Richest person India
Mumbai, Oct 7 …The Managing Director and five other directors of a top construction firm here were booked for allegedly cheating a software company to the tune of over Rs three crore, police said today.

An FIR under various IPC sections was registered against MD Kamal Khetan, president Jignesh Sanghavi, directors K B Jijina, Rachna Hingarajia, Manisha Khetan and Gopal Khetan of Starlight Systems Pvt Ltd at Andheri police station.
The alleged cheating took place in between July 16 and September 3 this year, Assistant Inspector Ganpat Wallunj said adding no arrests were made in this regard.
It is pertinent to note that Mr. Kamal Khetan is one of the top 100 richest Indians as per The Forbes list.
According to police, the complainant Sanjay Khemka, CEO, Tristars Multi-Trade Pvt Ltd in Andheri complained that his company had supplied seven software products to the real estate firm.

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

The source of the information is Afternoon Dispatch & Publication. Post their article dated 8th October 2010, we had approached them and presented all the required documents etc for clarification. The allegation against Mr. Khetan is false. Hence, the next day a corrigendum was given by them. (Subsequent to our article real estate tycoon cheats carried in yesterday’s edition - Oct 8th, 2010 we have been approached by M/s Sunteck Realty and M/s Starlight Systems with a statement that the complaint by M/s Starlight Multi Trade is fradulent and is a part of larger conspiracy. ADC will investigate this new angle and file its report shortly)
