Creighton Power & Communication —

They seem to know just enough to convince you they'll do a good job but not enough to actually do the job. They promise to show up bright and early in the morning but then do not show up until noon and one day they showed up around 2pm and about three others not at all. No matter what time they show up they only work until 4 - 4:30pm so some days they don't get much work done. I was having a major remodel done on my house and they got so far behind on their part of the project that they had to hire three more guys and work all weekend (at their expense) to get done by Monday because other parts of the remodel relied on them being done on that day. The contractor said that if they were working on a new home construction the same as they were on my remodel job the construction would be held up for years because of them.

They installed all the lighting adequately (no complaints so far) but when they installed my new doorbell they drilled the holes in the wrong places and even drilled the correct hole through the entire wall causing me to get the huge wall repainted. Every morning they'd show up and shut off the circuits to the part of the house they were working in, as they should, but also to parts of the house they weren't so I had to turn them on myself and keep resetting clocks.

They were to install cable TV in my house and they installed it fairly well, although it took a week and a half. Then a week later the signal went out. Days later and haven't fixed it yet. They connected my Play Station to my wireless Internet. They had to install a new router to do so and after thy did my internet is 1/3 the speed it was before (sometimes dial-up speeds) and goes out twice a day. Days later and still no fix yet either.

They were to purchase stereo equipment to install a home theater in my living room and purchased high-end bottom of the line products to save themselves money (you know, profit margin crap). They spent as little as possible to get a brand name that wouldn't clue me in to what they did: they bought bottom of the line models of decent (but inferior) brands.

They were to fix an outlet in my bathroom that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Over a month later and they haven't even set foot in the bathroom.

They were to do some work on my hot tub. After they declared the job finished I couldn't get the hot tub to work.

The worst part is not the inferior job they did, or the fact that they took forever to do it and got so far behind they had to spend money out of their pocket to catch up, but that they never answer their phone so you can't call to say "where are you it's noon and you're not here" or "My (fill in the blank) still does not work come and do the job again."

Their website has completely different branding than their business cards and truck, which is odd. The website cannot be found by typing their entire company name into Google, which is also odd. Their website claims that they can connect data networks, but if they cannot even plug in a wireless router without crippling the functionality of the service I doubt they can connect any network with any level of competence. They claim they do computer repair, I refer you to their absolute failure of when installing a router to an already existing Internet service (plug and play). The saddest part is, the service they advertise the most is mounting flat-panel TVs (LCD, Plasma, DLP, LED, etc.) on walls starting at almost three times what the other guys charge. They want to compete with the big boys, but they forget: the big boys have more than a 12% success rate.

If you want a job done poorly over a very long period... they're your guys.

This comment was written by a customers 30 something year old, still living at home son. His name is Christopher Nabity. He has never had a note worthy job and still and most likely will forever live off his very successful family. He wears high heels, headbands and is clearly struggling with his sexuality. The young man has more issues then I care to go into. He has never been a client and will never be a client. When reading a review always consider the source. Kaleb Vaughn

C'mon, posting a negative review about a company under one of the employees names? That seems very spiteful. I had Kaleb do some work for me and he did a very good job. He was on time and did what I asked him to do very fast and without any fuss or muss. Not only did he smooth over the electrical work in a breeze he also took care of some minor landscaping for me as well. He came off as the do-it-all type. I was happy to have him do the work.

Thank you.
