This is the message I sent to [protected]@K97.com, Advertising department.
Good morning Jason,
I am not sure if you are who I need to speak with but perhaps you could forward this to whomever needs to see it.
I was driving West on 137 Ave near St. Albert Trail when I saw a billboard that I found absolutely offensive. It is for your radio station and it reads _ _ CK YOU!
I can not believe that you can get away with putting that implied message out on the streets where our children have no choice but to read it.
It is one thing to do or say things on your radio station, which I never listen to by the way but have heard about. People have the choice to turn the station. But this blatant advertisement where we do not have a choice makes me wonder what on earth your company is thinking.
I pray you receive MANY complaints about this billboard and will take it down immediately.

Lynne Senten

Why can companies get away with such vulgarity? Strip joints and X rated stores have to black out their windows so people can't see in but we are forced to see billboards with this? This is not the first time this radio station has received complaints. When will you 'put a leash' on this company?

k97 is getting known for offensive billboards. The above comment "get a sense of humor..." what's funny about implying the words f___ you?
The worst billboards they have exploit women into nothing more than sex objects and it's getting worse. I hate k97 (because of thier advertising) and that they are FORCING thier low life ideas on everyone on the street. I would love to see women respected for once (although I know that will never happen as a reason to remove the billboards, unfortunately) so I would just love to see a total ban on ALL billboards. Other cities have done it. It would do nothing more but improve the GARBAGE littering our streets.

Hey Lynne-

Get a sense of humor...this isn't any worse then shampoo or tampon commercials. Get over yourself already and find something new to ### about...
