If you buy a Jura product at a retailer they do not recognize, your 2-year warranty is useless. The problem is their website does NOT give a list of authorized retailers, you have to ask them about any retailer you plan on buying the machine from. I purchased a Jura S8 Automatic Coffee Machine on Amazon for almost $3K dollars. When the machine stopped working two months later, I called them on their customer NO-service line and they asked who the seller was. I replied it was Amazon, but they insisted on the actual retailer who sells through Amazon. When I told them, they said they were not an authorized retailer and therefore I had no warranty! However, they said they would be happy to repair the machine for a $400 to $500 fee, payable upfront. This is a complete rip-off and excuse so as not to honor their warranty. Amazon is also culpable since they do not warn their customers about this. The machine has had several issues and I have had to deal with them on my own. This is a very expensive paperweight, and the Better Business Bureau or FTC should look into this ASAP.

Desired outcome: Validate my 2-year warranty and repair my machine at no cost to me.
