At first John seemed to be a nice guy and a good dealer. He had good marks on Ebay and the communication was not too bad (this was before I paid him). I was going to buy a car for my wife (a Lexus) and we worked out a price outside of Ebay (my first mistake). We agreed to a good price for both of us. I sent him a money order and that is when the communication started to really diminish. I would have to email him 3-4 times to get a simple answer...like did you receive my money order? It took him 15 days to confirm that he received it and I overnighted the money order. I also sent him some new rims and tires to put on the vehicle before they delivered it. That took about 2-3 weeks and over 50+ emails to get that all figured out. I had to threaten multiple times to get just get ONE answer. The car was shipped and I was not informed on when it was going to arrive. 7 day later I get a call at midnight and it was the trucking guys and they were delivering the 28 days after it was promised. It was for my wife's birthday and John promised me it would be here in time. That was a lie. Well we get the car and it had some scratches that weren't disclosed in our conversations and the worse part is that I have been waiting for the tires and rim (the original ones) and the GPS system that was promised for over 7 months. I have emailed him about 20 times about this and about every 5th email he says...no problem...or what is your address and I will ship today. It has all been lies. Please be very cautious of this guy...he is a slick talker and I don't want anybody else to fall victim. Be careful!

If anybody has any questions that they want to ask me about John Range or North Coast Auto Mall...please send me an email on complaintsbaord and I will show you the string of emails (i.e. LIES).

They mislead me at NorthCoast Auto Mall thinking I would have the balance of the manufacturers warranty as the car had only 13, 500 miles. The 2007 Infinity G35X had been hit and repaired and the pictures were as represented. Unfortuniately, almost 3 years later I am finding out they had learned at the auction that it had frame damage but they failed to disclose and provided an arroneous carfax report. It comes up now on the carcheck report now that I am trying to sell.
They won't do anything about it. If you have issues, I would suggest making sure you help build a file and complain to the Ohio Attorney General. As I read other complaints on the internet, I see I am not the only abused customer that got scammed by NorthCoast Auto Mall.
