I got phone call from the company ITECH247. The rep offered me their support services. He told me that they worked together with Windows, so I believed them, but it was scam. I paid them money for the support, which they promised to provide within the next 5 years, but after they received money, they stopped to reply. As well as no support. Scam, scam, scam. They are liars, scammers and thieves, so don’t deal with them.
A virus alert popped up on my computer with a Microsoft page warning that I needed to speak with a technician. When I called the 1-800 number “iTech247” took remote control of my machine and would not give it back. I’m certain they installed malware and I will need to wipe my drive. I feel like a fool.
